As i said before in the last meeting.. that recount is... do you still remember?

recount is telling story

but recount text is a text tells event in the past time.

Recount text has social function

To give some information and to entertaint the reader,

Recount text has generic structure

Orientation : to introduce time, place, character

Events; IS THE ACTIVITY OF THE STORY

REORIENTATION: CONCLUSION OR RETELL THE INFORMATION

THE CHAACTERISTIC OF RECOUNT TEXT:

1. USING PAST TENSE

2. USING PART OF SPEECH ADVERB OR ADVERBIAL

3. USING PART OF SPEECH CONJUNCTION AND AND TIME

LANGUAGE FEATURES

1. Menggunakan personal participant seperti I, my, me dan lain sebagainya.

2. Menggunakan chronological connection seperti first, then dan lain sebagainya.
3. Menggunakan linking verb seperti were, was, heard, saw dan lain sebagainya.
4. Menggunakan action verb seperti go, look, change, run dan lain sebagainya.
5. Menggunakan simple past tense.

type of recount text has several types;

1. Personal recount; text recount that tells writer’s experiences

e.g. Have you ever written diary; that is contains personal recount.
Or when you got holliday, and then you retell about your holliday, it is personal
recount
Or when you got bad day at that time and then you writing on your paper.
2. Factual recount:
Is a text that tells has function for delivering events that real happened. The writer is
not involped to the story but he or she get information from the other
e.g. truck accident, flood jakarta,
