the first day, our family immediately checked into the hotel and had lunch. After that, we headed straight
to Lake Toba and spent the whole day there. We went back to the hotel after sunset. The next day, we
explored the area around Lake Toba. The culture there is still original and I learned a lot about the local
language. We spent the holidays for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a short but a fun trip. I can’t wait to visit
Lake Toba again on the next holiday.

Last week, my family and I visited Grandma’s house. Grandma’s house is located in Kampung Panjang
Village. We went there by car and took two hours. When we arrived at Grandma’s house, we were very
welcomed. There are already uncles and aunts who arrived there first. Cousins and nieces also enlivened
my grandmother’s house. We spent one week there. Grandma’s house was never empty. As we rarely
met, we couldn’t stop asking about life one another. The week passed fast. I didn’t want to go home, but
work was waiting. Other families also said goodbye on the last day.
