Hello!    This  is  my  first  TPT  crea8on  and  I’m  very  excited!    I  can’t  wait  to  spread  
these  task  cards  throughout  the  room  and  watch  my  kindergartners  
demonstrate  their  awareness  of  the  middle  vowel  in  CVC  words  while  out  of  
their  chairs  in  this  ac8ve  and  engaging  ac8vity.      
 
Here’s  what  you  do:  
 
1) Cut  up  task  cards  and  distribute  throughout  the  room  –  they  don’t  need  to  
be  in  order!  

2) Give  your  students  the  empty  grid    and  have  them  walk  throughout  the  
room  and  fill  in  the  appropriate  vowel  in  the  matching  number  box.    

3) Check  for  understanding  and  celebrate  their  success!  

           I  included  an  answer  sheet  for  a  quick  assessment!
