Despite the increase in population that is surely inevitable as time goes on, there has been a significant decrease in
the growth rate of the Philippines parallel to the current birth rate. It has been reported in the news for quite some time now
that the birth rate in the Philippines has decreased and many have agreed and testified to this information. Some even joked
that it is because there has been a large amount of females that had PCOS, hindering them from conceiving or giving them a
hard time reproducing. There are also reports that it is because the youth and young adults nowadays have free access to
more information and education about family planning. Nonetheless, it has a huge impact on the yearly growth rate of the
Philippine Population.

the country’s most active cities. Quezon City, Manila and Caloocan City holds the title of top 3 in the most populated places in
the Philippines.
