II. RESPONSIBILITIES OF IT ADMINISTRATION

A. SYSTEM AND NETWORK MANAGEMENT

System and network management involve overseeing and

optimizing the operation, security, and performance of an
organization's IT infrastructures. This includes setting up,
configuring, monitoring, and maintaining operating systems,
servers, databases, applications, networks, and IT
equipment. It also entails ensuring data protection and
troubleshooting IT issues.

B. CYBERSECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION

Cybersecurity and data protection are crucial topics in

today's digital world. Cybersecurity refers to protective
measures used to safeguard data against unauthorized
access, ensuring its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Data protection involves respecting the rights and freedoms
of individuals whose data is processed, along with
complying with relevant regulations.

III. IMPACT OF ADMINISTRATION ON IT EFFICIENCY

A. OPTIMIZATION OF INTERNAL OPERATIONS

Optimizing internal operations in IT administration aims to

enhance efficiency and reduce costs. It's crucial to automate
recurring tasks, centralize configurations, proactively monitor,
establish incident management processes, utilize virtualization
and containerization, train staff, explore Cloud solutions, bolster
security, encourage collaboration, optimize existing processes, and
employ tools like Puppet, Docker, and ITIL
B. TECHNOLOGICAL EVOLUTION AND
ADMINISTRATION ADAPTATION

Administration has evolved with technology, moving from

manual processes to computerized systems. Computers
have automated tasks, the Internet has facilitated access to
online services, and social networks have improved
communication. The goal is a more efficient and
accessible administration.
