SPIRITUAL WARFARE
SESSION 4 – 6 February 2024

End-time strategy for the areas of attack coming to the body of Christ and Victory
over darkness.

Our responsibility is to learn from Jesus, the strategies He used to deliver from
evil, and how to overcome and win in warfare.

Governing over unclean spirits and the activities of darkness.

1. Because God preserves his seed in battle, we fight from a place as a winner,
a conqueror, but it is up to us to surrender to the enemy and let him govern
things on the earth or to reign in this territory or realm called Earth.

2. When we were born again, we were ushered into a place of divine power,
authority, and dominion. We were given keys to bind and loose, open, or
close, etc. We were given covenant rights that practically transported us
into realms as sons, Kings, and priests. Therefore, as long as we understand
the covenant demands, our struggles will be over and our victory
guaranteed – Jeremiah 17:7 & 8.

3. When we think of who we are and what we have, no darkness can

overpower us unless we give over our dominion and authority like Adam
and Eve did in the Garden.
For example, we have been given -

 All Speech (1 Cor 1:5)

 All The Knowledge & Wisdom ( 1 Cor 1:5, Col 2:3)
 The Truth of God ( Ephesians 4:21)
 The Power of God (1 Cor 1:24)
 The Approval/Qualification for all of God’s Promises ( 2 Cor
1:20, Colossians 1:12)
 The Presence of God (Eph 2:22, Matt 1:23)
 The Power of God (1 Cor 1:24)
 The Approval/Qualification for all of God’s Promises ( 2 Cor
1:20, Colossians 1:12)
  The Presence of God (Eph 2:22, Matt 1:23)
 A Treasure of All-surpassing Power (2 Cor 4:7)
 Everything we need for a godly life (2 Peter 1:3)
 Freedom (Gal 5:1, Eph 3:12, Gal 2:4)

These are the days of serious battle. Therefore, like Jesus, we must know as much
as possible about Spiritual Warfare.

 We must know how to governed over unclean spirits and the activity of
darkness by demonstrating authority.
 We must know the strategies of the enemy and his satanic agents.

4. While we can’t destroy Satan, we can surely block and destroy his works.
We can withhold the potency of Satan from performing with in our lives
and within jurisdictions of our authority. But what are the jurisdictions
which we have control and what are the works that we must destroy?

JURISDICTIONS OF OUR AUTHORITY.

The power of the earth, land and ground.

5. We have dominion over the earth.

 The earth is an ancient foundation.
 It keeps records.
 The Earth and its land have life.

God called heaven and earth to record what He was saying to His people.

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set
before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that
both thou and thy seed may live.” Deuteronomy 30:19

“O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.” Jeremiah 22:29

 The earth has ears. It hears. The earth has some computers which
are capable of receiving commands and responding to instructions.
 The earth operates a recording system and keeps records of all its
tenants. Therefore, the earth can be used against a person in
 judgment and will fight for or against him. In other words, the
ground can refuse to cooperate with you when you buy covenanted
land that has curses or blessings.
 The ground has power hence the Christian needs to command the
ground to be holy, for evil men bury many things in the ground, pour
libations and also demand the ground to do evil through sacrifices.

6. The power of the ground is so great, God told Joshua, “Wherever the sole
of your feet shall tread, you shall possess it. Joshua was mandated to
establish a covenant of success between the sole of his feet and the ground.
By doing so the earth recognized him and cooperated with him. The
signature or the mark of his footprint was recorded on the earth and the
ground had no choice but to bless him.
7. The earth heard the voice of Moses and it opened and swallowed Dathan,
Korah and Abiram.
8. In the story of Elisha, 2 Kings 13;18, a king was instructed to shoot the
arrow into the ground seven times but the king shot three times and
stopped.

17“Open the east window,” said Elisha. So he opened it and Elisha said,
“Shoot!” So he shot. And Elisha declared: “This is the LORD’s arrow of
victory, the arrow of victory over Aram, for you shall strike the Arameans
in Aphek until you have put an end to them.” 18Then Elisha
said, “Take the arrows!” So he took them, and Elisha said to the king of
Israel, “Strike the ground!” So he struck the ground three times and
stopped. 19But the man of God was angry with him and said, “You should
have struck the ground five or six times. Then you would have struck down
Aram until you had put an end to it. But now you will strike down Aram
only three times.”

The king did not know that the ground was recording the number of times
the arrow was shot against it. No wonder the prophet was angry with the
king.

9. Take note that many houses, buildings, roads, trees etc. have been
established on lands that wicked agents were buried and evil libations have
been poured causing persons to experience demonic oppression and suffer
from satanic embargoes.
 10.Of all things created by God, the ground is as mysterious as blood and
water. Therefore, if you have noticed that things are working against you,
if you are always dreaming about dead people/relatives or your feet have
problems then you need to pray and break the covenants of evil from the
ground. Many land covenants have been made in communities and these
covenants continue to demand certain dues in the form of poverty,
sickness, failure, non-achievements and other problems.

11.It is important to note that all elements in man’s body are taken from the
earth. This explains why satanic agents have always attempted to bury
people’s virtues, substance and personal things in the earth.
12.Most of what man uses comes from underneath the earth. The only thing
that came from heaven is the Spirit of God in the heart of man. However,
the Bible says,

He that is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He that

cometh from Heaven is above all. 1John 3:31”

“At the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things
in heaven, of things on earth and of things underneath the earth.”

The ground like every other creation has its glory. Psalm 67:6 says,
The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us.
Leviticus 18:28
And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations
that were before you.

13.Read Isaiah 32:9-15. From this scripture, our complacency in controlling

our spiritual environment leads to many disasters including our natural
land.
 Pleasant fields turning to thorns and briers
 Harvest failing
 Prosperous and bursting cities become deserted
 Desolation takes over the nation including Church
The principle of not controlling your environment affects you and your family
the same way. No doubt, Jeremiah 22:29, teaches how to speak to the land.

O land, land, land, hear the word of the Lord!

14.To bring down Kings, principalities, powers, and wickedness in our

environment, we speak to the land. It will reject all humans also working
in darkness. In Jeremiah 22:30, the Lord says, to the land, “Record this man
as if childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his
offspring will prosper, none will sit on the throne of David or rule anymore
in Judah.”

15.Read the entire chapter. Wicked men curse the land to affect others.
Jeremiah 23:10 says,

The land is full of adulterers; because of the curse the land lies
parched and the pastures in the wilderness are withered. The prophets
follow an evil course and use their power unjustly.
16.Satan, is operating in even more subtle ways developing inroads and
strongholds in our lands and in our nation’s environment. He bombards
homes, work places, institutions, systems, arts and culture etc. However,
you must use your dominion position and power to stop Satan’s invasion
in your lives.

17.By wisdom, through knowledge (Proverbs 20:18 & 11:9) we must have
strategy. (18 Plans are established by seeking advice; so, if you wage war,
obtain guidance), (9 With their mouths the godless destroy their
neighbours, but through knowledge the righteous escape.).

18.Take authority over the land, because the evil altars, gates and covenants
in the land can affect you negatively.
To use your authority effectively, you first
 Identify the princes, powers and demons, if possible, by name.
 Identify their locations
 Discover the history of their presence in particular locations
 Identify ‘happenings’ in your lives and environment traceable to particular
principalities and powers and wickedness.
