If your insurance is not placed with Absa, please let your insurer know what your instructions are.
If your property and/or life insurance related to the home loan is with Absa, the policies are to be dealt with as follows:
Absa Homeowners Comprehensive (HOC – Property insurance)

Convert HOC to a Debit Order Policy (i.e. debit the monthly premium to your transaction account); or

Number Bank Branch Code

Cancel the HOC policy. (You will be refunded any unused premium.)

Absa Life Insurance

Convert the Life Policy to a Debit Order (i.e. debit the monthly premium to your transaction account); or

Number Bank Branch Code

Cancel the Life policy. (You will be refunded any unused premium.)
