Asher was 5 weeks along when his mother, Abby, found out she was pregnant. Asher is

Pope Sixtus, the church authority who permitted the persecution, was a man of luxury.
Early on in his reign, he established himself as a Pope with expensive taste and expansive
vision. His churches throughout Italy served to put him in a favorable light amongst the
visionaries and upper class. Sixtus greatest achievement during his reign was his
commissioning of the world renowned Sistine Chapel. He commissioned painters and
architects to fill the illustrious ceilings with murals and religious imagery to emphasize
his prosperity. Sixtus obsession with the Papal image was his major character flaw. His

As stated by Collins, they have been dehumanized and even regarded as invisible, which
seriously lowers the marginalized ones self esteem, and leads to the situation that the
labor of black women being exploited and dominated. According to Brittan and Maynard,
all forms of oppression implied the devaluation of the subjectivity of the oppressed
(1984). Paying attention to the marginality such as the black women mentioned in
Collins s article, the marginalized groups could undergo the process of self definition and
self evaluation, which helps them strengthen their self recognition and identities. As
mentioned by Collins, dehumanization is a crucial element of resisting domination.
Through self valuation, black women could be able to create their own standards instead
of defining by the others. Their taken for granted statuses of being dehumanized, as a
result, would be denied and challenged, which could avoid domination of the majority
against
