Contemporary Art Essay

Writing an essay on the topic of contemporary art can be both challenging and rewarding. The
difficulty lies in navigating the vast and diverse landscape of contemporary artistic expressions, as it
encompasses a wide range of styles, mediums, and ideologies. Contemporary art is often
characterized by its constant evolution, challenging traditional norms, and pushing boundaries,
making it a dynamic and multifaceted subject.

Researching for such an essay can be an intricate process, involving the exploration of various art
movements, influential artists, and their unique contributions to the art world. The fluid nature of
contemporary art makes it crucial for the writer to stay updated on the latest developments,
exhibitions, and critical discourses.

Crafting a coherent and insightful essay requires a deep understanding of the contextual frameworks
that shape contemporary art. Analyzing the socio-political, cultural, and technological influences on
artists and their works adds layers of complexity to the writing process. Furthermore, expressing
personal opinions and interpretations while maintaining an objective and academic tone can be a
delicate balancing act.

However, despite its challenges, writing about contemporary art offers the writer an opportunity to
engage with the vibrant and ever-changing art scene, fostering a deeper appreciation for the creative
expressions of our time. It allows for the exploration of the intersection between art and society,

The young man does not know what is in store for him. He goes to the hotel ready to
show his dexterity, but is humiliated by having to participate in a battle royal, which is a
boxing match between multiple participants. Young men in the fight are blindfolded, I
had no dignity. I stumbled about like a baby or a drunken man (244). The boy shows
great inner strength when he chooses to stay in the fight for amusement of the white
businessmen, which demonstrates his fulfillment to his grandfathers words. If in fact he
does get thrown out he many not have a chance to give his speech.
The second humiliating experience was after the battle royal match. Money is lying on an
electrified carpet, I lunged for a yellow coin lying on the blue design of the carpet,
touching it and sending a surprised shriek to join those rising around me. I tried
frantically to remove my hand but could not let go. A hot, violent force tore through my
body, shaking me like a wet rat. The rug was electrified (246). This quote demonstrates
the amount of humiliation that the young man is put through, because of his grandfathers
dying words he counties to the end when he gives his speech.
The young man finally delivers his speech and shows great integrity while doing it.
While giving his speech the men are being very disrespectful by not listening. It almost

Breast Calcification Research Paper
By Jonas Wilson, Ing. Med.

Diagnosing calcification

In addition to routine blood and biochemical tests to check for underlying factors such as
hypovitaminosis K, hypervitaminosis D or hypercalcemia, X rays (e.g. for the breasts)
and CT scans (e.g. for the brain) may be used to detect calcifying deposits. The two types
of breasts calcifications, macro and micro calcifications look like large randomly
dispersed dots and white specks on the mammogram (breast X ray), respectively. Breast
calcification tissue may be removed and biopsied in order to rule out more serious
pathologies such as cancer.

Arterial calcifications, for example in the coronary arteries, may be detected in vivo (in a
living person) by methods such as electron beam computed tomography (EBCT)
coronary arteriography, plain film X rays, fluoroscopy, intravascular ultrasound, MRI and
CT scan. EBCT and fluoroscopy are the most commonly used techniques in the blood
vessel investigations, while CT scans are very sensitive for the detection as well as the
localization of intracranial calcifications. Calcifications produce the appearance of high
density material on CT scans and X rays.

Non neoplastic dystrophic and metastatic calcifications caused by conditions such as

infections, trauma and neoplasms, appear with radiolucent centers on radiographs. ...

Cases of hypercalcemia can be further broken down into those that are PTH dependent
and PTH independent (parathyroid hormone). PTH is usually elevated in physiological
conditions when there is a drop of calcium in the blood and then returns to baseline once
it corrects the problem. This is not the case however in hyperparathyroidism.
Furthermore, PTH related peptide (PTHrP), which is capable of acting on PTH receptors
is abnormally elevated in certain cancers such cancers of the genitourinary tract and

The laser vaporizes tissue it comes into contact with or cuts tissue, and it is strengthens
the bond between a tooth and its filling when used during the curing process. It also
boosts the tooth whitening process, acting as a heat source during this procedure, Dr.
Daoud continues.

Patients who fear the dental drill often find use of the laser reduces their anxiety, and
pain tends to be less when a laser is used. Swelling and bleeding during a soft tissue
treatment is minimized and more of the healthy tooth tends to be preserved when a cavity
is removed with a laser.

Speak to a Dentist Clearwater FL to learn if laser dentistry is an option for you. Lasers
cannot be used on those teeth which already have a filling, nor can they be used when a
cavity is located between teeth or when the tooth must be prepared for crown placement.
Defective crowns and silver fillings can t be removed with this device either. Therefore,
patients need to consult with a dentist to determine if any of their dental work will benefit
from this type of treatment, as only he or she knows when this is the case, Dr. Dauod
advises.
