HOW TO FIXED THE CORRUPTED DESIGN FILE

PT. MITRAIS
 1. Run Exceed application by selecting the following menu:
Start – All Programs – Hummingbird Connectivity 2008 - Exceed

2. Open command prompt by selecting Start – run menu. The following form will be
displayed then type in cmd and then click OK

3. In the command form screen, go to MineScape installation folder (i.e MineScape has
been installed in d:\program files\Mincom\MineScape 4118)

4. Go to bin directory and then run the MineScape application by type in minescape.bat
<enter> and then type in gti& <enter>

 5. MineScape Splash Screen below will be displayed. Ignore this screen and press enter in
command prompt screen

 6. Go to the project directory (i.e the project is stored in d:\data\projects; project name
is opc_training)

7. Go to designs directory of opc_training project and type in dir to list the design file
names

8. Type in commands dffix <corrupted design file name.dgn> or dfsize <corrupted

design file name.dgn> to fixed the corrupted design file (i.e the corrupted design file
name is blocks.dgn)

 When dffix command has run completely then the new design file (with .fix extension)
will be created.

Rename the new design file (i.e to blocks_fix.dgn)

 Open opc_training project and check the layers name of blocks_fix.dgn

 9. If the layers still can’t be displayed then do the second option to fixed it by type in
dfsize <corrupted design file name>.dgn

10. Open opc_training project and check the layers name of blocks.dgn with the same
procedure as above
