TOPIC: Benefits of being an entrepreneur

Thesis Statement:
Benefits of being an entrepreneur are create souls of leadership within society and the ability
to improve the economy.

Body Paragraphs:
The first benefit of being an entrepreneur is create souls of leadership within society.
Entrepreneur can encourage individual’s leadership, who can change the way people thinks
and make a breakthrough in term of business. In business there are an up and down situation
or called fluctuative situation which makes entrepreneur to think critically to maintain a
business is stable. Brave to take a high risk an assertive but reflective disposition to making a
good decision are main obstacles that entrepreneurs should have faced. The more
entrepreneur brave to take risks and try to changing people’s mindset, it will make them have
a great leadership traits. Bill (2017) in his article “courage is the key to great leadership”,
stated that people who want to become a great leader must be good to make decision, have a
sense of risk-taker, and self-confident. Followers desire to have leader that can control the
decision and interpret situation rationally. Leadership encourage people to be different and
innovative. Another challenge in business are advertising the products or services also make
a new innovation. Promoting the products or services to get attraction from the customer’s
needs creativity skills, and have to make innovation in order to develop a business.
Subsequently, great leadership have to empowering creativity and innovation of a person. So
they can empowering people which enable to achieve goals through their own ideas and
efforts, Business without creativity is nothing. Sloane (2017) in his article “Empowering
Innovation”, explains that innovation is about something new and has a big value in it.
Within their own businesses team creating innovation can be implemented. Empowerment is

the key to achieve the goals that they want to accomplish. Empowerment is about encourage
people to enhance their solving problem skills and targeting customer market and needs.
Hence, being an entrepreneurs will raises a leadership traits in community.

The second benefit is the ability to improve the economy. Entrepreneur can increase
national income and also create a new wealth. A new wealth can be produce by
entrepreneurs. By way of developing their product, services, and technology, it is possible to
create a new wealth and market. Also big salary of employees are be able to increase national
income by paying taxes and the government earnings can be used to invest or spend on other
sectors that are struggling and human (Seth, 2017). Furthermore, entrepreneur can create a
job for those who are unemployment. Because a business require an employee. Sappin (2016)
stated that new business supposed to recruit a labour. The quality of life and overall living
standard can be increased through job opportunities as well as raise economics opportunities
and communities support. Therefore, entrepreneurs have capabilities to raise the economy.
