Common Reference: MCER Pre A1 (Pre A1)


According to the CMER, this topic is located in the first grade of primary school, whose level of the students is Pre A1, however. In secondary school no. 221
“Amado Nervo” the groups were combined, and for this reason, the English academy decided to start teaching basic topics, thus making a diagnosis of the
students and later from it teach in relation to the level of proficiency in English, linking them with the subject of second grade.
Students at level A1.2 in the CMER understand and react to some isolated words and very simple expressions of routine and frequent use in basic social
interaction typical of their daily contexts (school, home, community). They also respond with familiar expressions to related oral and written models with
immediate communication needs, saying very basic information about themselves and their immediate environment. Despite the above, it is important to
mention that some activities in this didactic sequence are designed for a higher level, B1.1, seeking to improve students.
On the other hand, the second-grade students are between 13-14 years old, which means that the students are in the adolescent stage, so they relate to the
language and culture through games and various playful and literary activities, using some linguistic or non-linguistic resources.
