They also learnt about the size, shape and texture of vegetables. They were engaged in different activities and also were able to describe and discriminate about Wild animals and Vegetables. Kids were engaged in transferring beads, sand and water from one bottle to another. This activity builds concentration, coordination and independence. Gross motor Skills Kids were engaged in gross motor activities like kangaroo jump, frog jump. They were also engaged in cup stacking activities. They enjayed making Sand Art and Vegetable Art. The little ones had fun while doing the activity. Colours - Kids were introduced to Purple and White. They identified the colours using various objects in the school environment. They were engaged in activities like identification, sorting, matching and naming the Rectangle was introduced to the kids. SENSORY SKILLS Vision - Shadow Images. Kids identified andmatched the shadow images with real images. Hearing -Kids were asked to identify and differentiate the sounds of small box, beads and stones. Smell - Vegetables. Kids explored Vegetable’s smell by closing their eyes and identified it. Taste — Kids were asked to identify different tastes like sweet, salt and sour. Touch- Smooth & Rough. Kids were made to touch and identify the texture of different objects.
