with and without water presence, were the
hammer drills continuously, with no blockages.
The prior reduces the operational drilling time
and increases productivity. Sample
recovery rate is 95 to 98%, managing to
retrieve a dry and clean sample even when
drilling in mud and water conditions.

Sample tube shows a noticeable increase in

useful life, ranging from +20% to +100% versus
product previously used.

OPERATIVE ROP
After controlled drilling in 12 wells, the Explora by Drillco hammer
showed an operative ROP of 25.99 versus 18.63 for the other hammer 26 mts/hr
in use, which represents a +40% increase in operative ROP.

Instant ROP for the Explora Hammer was 61.72, versus 31.03 for the INSTANT ROP
competitor Australian hammer Brand, equivalent to +98%
