How Do You Cite A Website In An Essay

Crafting an essay on the intricacies of citing a website in academic writing can be both challenging
and nuanced. It demands a comprehensive understanding of various citation styles, such as APA,
MLA, Chicago, or Harvard, each with its unique set of rules for referencing online sources. The
difficulty lies not only in memorizing these intricate guidelines but also in applying them consistently
throughout the essay.

One must delve into the specific details of the website, including the author's name, publication date,
title of the page, URL, and access date, among other factors. The dynamic nature of online content,
with pages frequently updated or revised, adds an extra layer of complexity. Keeping abreast of
changes and ensuring the accuracy of the citation at any given moment requires meticulous attention
to detail.

Moreover, the essay should address the importance of proper citation in academic writing,
highlighting the ethical dimension of giving credit to the original sources and avoiding plagiarism. A
thorough exploration of the consequences of inadequate citation could further enrich the discussion.

Navigating the sea of online resources and determining their credibility also poses a challenge.
Distinguishing between reliable and unreliable sources is crucial, and the essay should offer insights
into evaluating the credibility of websites to enhance the quality of the information being cited.

In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of citing a website in an essay demands not only a grasp
of the technicalities but also an appreciation for the broader context of academic integrity. The
meticulous nature of citation styles and the ever-evolving landscape of online information make this
task a formidable one, requiring diligence and attention to detail.

SAPM Spring 2006: Project Management

Project Management
A project is a temporary endeavour to produce a unique product, service, or result (PMI
2004). Project management (PM) techniques were originally developed for waterfall type
projects like building construction.
PM focuses on planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the complex
interdependencies among subtasks.
PM techniques are particularly relevant when considering the entire project in which
software development is embedded, which includes other activities such as
documentation, training, hardware, etc.

Gantt Chart extras

Gantt charts can also show summary activities (see

Planning entry), dependencies (arrows), and milestones
(diamonds).
The dependencies make slack clear (see Siding entry).

Resources
All these charts assume infinite resources things that can logically happen in parallel, are
assumed to happen in parallel. In reality, there are limited resources, so there are
dependencies not shown in the charts.
E.g. if only one person is available to work on the shed project, the siding and roofing
tasks must be done in serial, due to the resource constraint.

Crashing/Fast tracking
If the critical path is still not fast enough, it s possible to shorten the duration by changing
some assumptions. E.g.:
Crashing: Change the duration of some critical task, e.g., if it is possible to parallelize it
by assigning more people to it.
Fast tracking: Allow tasks to be done in parallel by changing the logic in the network
diagram.
If tasks can be parallelized (as in building construction) these allow total duration to be
greatly reduced.

The Collapse Of The Space Shuttle Before Columbia
In the year of 2003, on February 1, a tragic accident had occurred in the atmosphere
above Texas as the space shuttle called Columbia was on it s way to land at the
Kennedy Space Center. The shuttle itself was on its 28th mission and was just one of the
five space shuttles that was used amongst NASA. But on this particular day, it wasn t
like the rest because astronauts are supposed to return home safely; that s not what
happened on this day. There were seven astronauts that were inside the shuttle. Their
names were Rick Husband, David Brown, Michael Anderson, Laurel Clark, William
McCool, Kalpana Chawla, and Ilan Ramon. They had all died in an explosion within the
shuttle itself.

NASA was trying to figure out how this could ve happened. They ran through many
possibilities of what could ve gone wrong and they came to the conclusion that the
reason the shuttle had exploded when coming through the atmosphere was because a
chunk of foam hilt a wing of the craft. This was suspected to be the reason when tape
was analyzed of the takeoff before Columbia went into space. NASA wanted to know
if it was the real reason but didn t want anyone else to know of the issues besides them.
The Department of Defense had asked permission from the people working for NASA
to use orbital spy cameras to analyze the problem. But NASA had said no to their offer
and went on to analyze and check the disaster for themselves so that they knew what the
problem was. They call this a common check .
Taking a Look at Jimmy Doolittle
Jimmy Doolittle James Doolittle has accomplished many things that make his name
stand out in history. Also with these accomplishments he had gained international
fame and different title. He is consider a daredevil because he has performed the outside
loop; a plane trick never attempted and successfully performed and also he flew air show
while having two broking ankle. He is also consider a great aviator and a great
commander because of the way he race in planes and broke some records at the same
time and because of the way he led the successful Doolittle Raid. Also had help change
the world of aviation by working with a crew to design a plane with navigational
devices that would help pilot fly their planes in climate that people use to think that it
was too dangerous to fly in. But sadly on September 27, 1993, James H. Doolittle died
in Pebble Beach, California at the age of ninety six and is now buried at Arlington
National Cemetery. James Harold Doolittle was born on December 14, 1896, in
Alameda, California. He spent most of his youth with his mother in California while his
father was in Nome, Alaska looking for gold. When he was three, Jimmy went with
his mom to join his dad in Nome, where he learned how to fight off bullies and drive a
dogsled. But at the age of eleven James Doolittle went back to Los Angeles with his
mother where he went to high school and had an interest in flying. He then enrolled at
the University of California s School of
Human Sexuality Diversity In Contemporary America
Conflict itself is not dangerous to intimate relationships; it is the manner in which the
conflict is handled... I would like to start with this line that I found through the lecture in
Human Sexuality Diversity in contemporary America chapter 8. The reason is because it
simply amazed me how much true this line has between its words. Coming from a
divorced and conflict family, I grew up believing conflict between couples was something
normal and had no solution nonetheless screaming or hurting (physical, emotional, or
psychological) each other. I liked the idea of understanding how different a relationship
can be and how all relationships suffer from conflict, though, how this book mentions

The Little Chinese Seamstress Character Analysis
Of course not everybody in the world likes to talk about exactly what they are feeling
or thinking all the time. There is a certain degree of things that generally are kept
private. However, in the book The Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie, the main
character (who doesn t ever reveal his name to the audience, so is simply called the
Narrator), comes off as an especially closed off character specifically in the beginning
half of the story. He rarely ever speaks what he is actually thinking, which makes him a
kind of difficult character to relate to. The Little Seamstress, a local beauty, has caught
his eye along with every other male in the village , but he struggles with how to
express his feelings because he is not used to doing so, and because his best friend
(Luo) is dating her. On pages 161 163, Luo has left the village and asked the Narrator
to keep an eye on the Little Seamstress while he is away. However, even though the
Narrator keeps his word, he can t help but feel attracted to her and an inner battle
between what he wants and what is right begins. In this part of the story, the Narrator
feels torn between his loveand affection towards the Little Seamstress and his
commitment/promise to Luo. Here, the Narrator finally portrays to what extent he feels
towards her, but does so very subtly (which is fitting seeing as that s who he is a
character: altogether reserved).

With the job that the Narrator has been tasked with, he is certainly not neglecting his
