Chaos In The Maze Runner
Enforcing order will help society become a finer place, because it minimizes the chaos
and allows people, and ideas, to thrive. The Maze Runner, a novel written by James
Dashner in 2009, has become a worldwide phenomenon for young readers. The novel
The Maze Runner is a story of love, pain, sacrifice, and desperation. In the world of this
novel, our hero, Thomas, finds himself in the Glade, home of the Gladers, which is
entombed hopelessly in a maze. The Gladers don t believe they will ever be able to
escape. However, this bleakness was challenged. There is one person that can lead the
Gladers to the ray of light that shines in a room of darkness. Thomas. But, on the way
to freedom, tears will be spilt, love shall cease, and sacrifices will have to be made.
Nevertheless, there... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Order and chaos are entwined with each other, they are inseparable. They are like a
flock of birds, always sticking together. However, these guidelines are necessary for
society because it helps society remain calm and organized, while chaos creates
violence and disorganization, as well as creates the opposite of what a peaceful
society should be like. In democratic societies, orders have evolved with people s needs
while chaos creates disruption. The Gladers would have never survived the Maze
Trials at the beginning if they didn t have rules to abide by. But over time, keeping
order became more and more difficult because people didn t want to watch their
friends and family suffer. Without chaos in the Maze, the Gladers could have survived
with fewer casualties if the Gladers had united together in finding an escape route, not
stand divided as they did. Implementing order in society is necessary to limit chaos and
help people thrive in society. With less chaos, comes a time when people are more
unified, a time when people are stronger and can make their voices more powerful and
Corrie Ten Boom Essay
Report Title The Life and Ministry of Corrie Ten Boom

The topic I chose for this project is that I believe others should read this novel (The
Hiding Place) Before reading this book I knew who Corrie Ten Boom was and what she
did, but after reading this book my eyes were really opened to the magnitude of what
she really did. It wasn t just a story anymore, it became a reality. After reading the novel,
I watched some videos of her speaking, and her story became even more real to me. I ve
read about her before I ve seen movies about her, but listening to her speak really
touched me. She is a wonderful speaker, and you could ... Show more content on

She opened her home to Jews who were being persecuted, hunted down, and killed by
the Germans. The story begins in 1937 on the 100th anneversary of the Ten Boom s
watch shop. As dozens of neighbors and residents of Haarlem,Holland flocked to the
party, Corrie ,Betsie, Willem, Nollie, and Casper Ten Boom rushed to prepare for the
occasion. It was a happy time in Holland, but darkness was on the horizon. The story
flashes back few years to 1898 where several things happened to the Ten Booms. Corrie
Ten Boom s mother died, her brother started a home for the elderly which would later
play a part in the story, and also in 1918 World War I ended. Fast forward the story
again to the present as news starts to reach Holland of World War II. Citizens start to
become concerned, but most people said the war would never reach Holland. In fact,
it did, and much sooner than anybody could have guessed. It happened so quickly that
no one could have stopped it. One night the Ten Booms woke up to the sound of
explosions. The next day, the Germans captured Holland and things started changing
subtlety . First the curfews were put into effect then the little yellow cloth stars that
said jood ( Jew in German ) were given for all Jews to wear. Arrests and disappearances
started to take place. Suddenly Corrie found herself taking care of and hiding several
Jews. She tried to find them more permanent

One is the adequacy of the research itself. In view of the extent of the research, and the
high proportion of negative findings, this seems unlikely to be fruitful. I will deal
with it here cursorily. Another is the appropriateness of the research to the nature of
the theory. In this respect I argue that it is the sort of theory which is not easily
amenable to crucial test, as Wahba and Bridwell accept. This would usually be seen as
a shortcoming. I here argue that, on the contrary, it is one of the qualities which gives
the theory its power. The third ground is that the theory itself can be refined. A series
of modifications are later proposed. The remainder of the paper works through a
number of stages. The general nature of Maslow s hierarchy is first examined. A the
same time the adequacy of current research methods to test it is assessed. Then
follows a more detailed analysis of the theory. As a consequence of this examination I
propose a series of Maslow revis(it)ed Paper 02 5 modifications to the categories of
needs, their relationship, and the underlying rationale for the hierarchy. Finally, I review
the agreement between the theory and other general theories which address similar
issues. The nature of Maslow s hierarchy Before the research can be assessed or the
theory reviewed it is necessary that I clarify the very nature of the theory. Briefly, I argue
that it is essentially a taxonomy, with
