Alexander Graham Bell Essay

Writing an essay on Alexander Graham Bell can be a challenging yet rewarding task. On one hand,
Bell's life and contributions to the field of communication are vast and multifaceted, providing ample
material for exploration. However, the difficulty lies in distilling this wealth of information into a
coherent and engaging essay.

To begin with, researching Bell's life requires sifting through numerous historical documents,
biographies, and academic articles. The sheer volume of information can be overwhelming, making it
essential to carefully select and organize relevant details. Moreover, separating fact from myth and
ensuring the accuracy of the information adds an additional layer of complexity.

Crafting a compelling narrative is another hurdle. Bell's life was marked by a diverse range of
experiences, from his work on the telephone to his contributions to deaf education. Weaving these
aspects into a seamless storyline that captures the reader's attention and maintains a logical flow can
be challenging. Striking the right balance between providing sufficient context and avoiding
unnecessary details is a delicate task that requires careful consideration.

Moreover, formulating a strong thesis statement that encapsulates the essence of the essay and guides
the reader throughout the text demands thoughtful analysis and articulation. It is crucial to avoid
presenting a mere recollection of facts but rather to offer a unique perspective or argument that adds
value to the existing body of knowledge on Alexander Graham Bell.

Additionally, the essay must be written with a target audience in mind, striking a balance between
accessibility and academic rigor. This requires the use of clear and concise language while avoiding
oversimplification of complex ideas.

In conclusion, writing an essay on Alexander Graham Bell is a formidable task that necessitates in-
depth research, meticulous organization of information, a captivating narrative, a compelling thesis,
and a careful consideration of the target audience. It is a challenging endeavor that requires
dedication and a keen understanding of the subject matter.

Drawing Up Your Own Business Plan
This is the last module of the qualification. Well done for having persevered and having
made it this far! Modules 1 to 4 have taken you all the way from learning strategies to
drawing up a business plan for your own business. We hope that by now you are
excited about the thought of owning your own business and being an entrepreneur.
Choosing a business is easy; getting it to stay viable and bringing in the money is
another thing. According to the University of Tennessee, 70 80 % of all businesses fail
in the first year and only half of the remaining businesses will survive longer than five
years. This is a scary statistic, but on close examination as to why these businesses have
not been successful, we see that they failed to plan... Show more content on

Sometimes these are called circulating assets because the items are continually
changing their form in the normal course of business: for example, stock on hand is
sold and becomes a debtor. The customer pays and the debtor becomes cash, cash is
used to buy more stock and so on. A continuous cycle occurs from purchase of stock, to
sales, and back to cash. c) Liabilities Liabilities fall into three main groups: Owner s
capital employed or Owner s Equity. Long term liabilities which are liabilities not
currently repayable (for at least a year), e.g. a long term loan such as a mortgage bond.
Current liabilities which are repayable in a short period of time (less than a year) and
in the normal course of business. d) Owners Equity Owners Equity refers to the
interest of the owners in the nett assets of the entity (total assets less liabilities). e)
Income Income is all the amounts earned by the entity for goods or services sold.
Goods and services may be sold for cash or on credit. When goods or services are sold
for cash, the asset cash increases. If the sales transaction was on credit, the asset debtors
(accounts receivable) increases. f) Expenses Examples of expenses are accounting fees,
electricity and water, salaries and wages, stationery and printing, telephone, fax and cell
phones. g) Receipts Receipts include ALL money received by the business via
Summary Of Kelly s Story
1.)After reading Kelly s story I researched different skin infections that may cause a
rash on a person. Four different infections I found were Scabies, Impetigo, also known
as Indian Fire, Cellulitis, and Folliculitis (7). Scabies is a contagious rash caused by the
itch mite Sarcoptes scabiei (6). Scabies is a rash that produces red itchy bumps (6).
Impetigo is caused by Staphylococcus and Streptococcus bacteria(5). Impetigo is
extremely contagious and is spread by close contact (5). Cellulitis can be caused by
Staphylococcus and Streptococcus (4). Cellulitis is not contagious but causes a red
heated rash in the area of infection (4). Lastly, Folliculitis was listed as a rash causing
infection. Folliculitis is a skin infection that causes a rash around the hair follicles that
look like red pimples (3). Although it can be caused by certain bacteria, causing damage
to the hair follicles can cause this infection (8). The normal bacteria that causes
Folliculitis is Staphylococcus aureus (3).

The most common cause for Folliculitis is Staphylococcus aureus (3). The definition of
Folliculitis is an inflammation of the hair follicle on the body (8). This is the diagnoses
I came up with because after shaving Kelly noticed the rash on her legs. Folliculitis is
known to occur when there is damage to the hair follicle. Shaving can cause hair follicle
damage in return can cause Folliculitis
The Theory Of Computational Design Thinking

Computational Design Thinking
The dominance of computational programs in the architectural career has become
dominant throughout the years. It could be said that it has taken over the entire practice
and that the human aspect had been taken out completely. In the book Computational
Design Thinking, by Achim Menges and Sean Ahlquist this is discussed. It is important
to understand how certain things work in an environment in other to comprehend how a
design computer system actually works. In order to do so, a system generating a system,
history and cybernetics, and how the machine and men interact needs to be analyzed. In
doing so, it is determined that one cannot exist without the other.
A system generating a systems dominates the idea of computational design. A system has
to ideas explained in the book. The first idea is a system as a whole. The system as a
whole refers to a particular holistic view of a single thing. While a generating system
does not refer to a single thing; but a combination of things that include rules that are
capable of generating many things. A system can only become a system if it has a
holistic property. Meaning that if the object could have different meaning depending the
approach. For example a flower; when given as a gift it is just a flower. It is not thought
of as a system it is just an object to the receiver. If the same flower is looked about in a
different way it
Richard Jewell Case
Often, the media is very quick to jump on a story as they want to be the very first to
bring the news story since they compete with other news outlets. Add the issues of law
enforcement sources who leak information to news sources, and you have the potential
of someone being found guilty of public opinion. As was seen in the case of Richard
Jewell, a man who acted heroically was scrutinized and ridiculed by the media all
because law enforcement wanted to question Jewell further. Even though Richard
Jewell was questioned and his rights were read to him, he was at no time arrested or
detained, and it seems there never existed any probable cause for law enforcement to do
so. However, the media painted Jewell as the bomber, called him a fat,... Show more

In the years to follow, the media has been quick to provide information and at times
that information has been incorrect and at the cost of the people they have mistaking
identified. After the Boston Marathon Bombing, two men dubbed the bag men by
news reports were identified as possible suspects even though they had nothing to do
with the attacks (Sack, 2013). As of recently in the Phoenix metro area, the local
freeways have been facing a series of random shootings. The Arizona Department of
Public Safety has already call the unknown suspect a domestic terrorist even though
the person or persons are not known nor are their motivations. A few days ago, every
news agency was reporting a major break in the case and reporting an arrest in the
freeway shootings. The man accused had his name and picture placed on many news
outlets as being the freeway shooter. However, the AZ Department of Public Safety is
only charging the man with a marijuana charge. AZ DPS has also publicly announced
that the man is not their primary suspect and that they still believe the actual shooter is
still at large. It is possible that the man is connected, and criminal charges related to the
shootings will occur. However, it is also possible that this man has falsely been painted
as the serial freeway shooter and a terroist while the real suspect is still looking for more
