Wesley Wayne Weber – Canadian Counterfiet Currency maker Born and brought up in Windsor Canada studied bioscience and Mechanical Engineering From University of Windsor At age 13 he made his first fake currency note During Teenage year he used to forge all kind of documents, including insurance certificates, welfare cards, cheques and gift certificates. He was sentenced to jail in 1997 for forgery He also grew illegeal cannabis in 1999 due to which he was arrested for 240 hours He Was looking to make things that would make him cool among his peers, he wanted the lavish laifestyles, the Girls, the Money Then he thought what is money? its just an engineered photo on a piece of paper that has Value to buy anything He then bought a graphic software that was available in market that time which made him zoom the bills 1000 times to perfect the images and security features then used He used special paper that did not glow under UV light(he went to Toronto to buy and they said he need an archival paper) (he posed as a bar owner) He bought fluroscent paper to mimic the UV polymer responsive dots on the notes. He bougth api foils to mimic the “100” of note He bought a HP Deskjet Printer worth 700 dollars. After three months of Work his friends convinced the notes were perfect. First time his friends bought cigarette from a store and then the circus began of using it more In September 2000, one of friend who worked in a bank got letter from RCMP about deficience of the counterfeit notes Weber was paranoid and he started working on to improve the notes. They started selling the notes to Middle eastern fellow for 24 cents a dollar. Later when the fellow demanded a million dollars of fake notes for 12 cents a dollar He was invited to the middle eastern guy home where he was told to consider moving to Iraq in one of Saddam palace. Saddam wanted to crumble the western economy using these counterfeit notes After the deal was cleared, he had lots and lots of money bought many things such as BMW 25, Ferrari , mustand , jeep Grand Cheroke, big TV, Snow- mobiles, expensive leather couches etc… But it wasn’t going to be too long of fun they were busted in July 2001 the RCMP had been watching them for many days. They installed audio and video survellience for tracking them. He knew about there plan but he could not outsmart them ever. They were sentenced to 5 years and 7 months in jail. The year he was arrested the Canadian Fake notes level has crossed 700PPM (Fake notes per millions of real notes) which was higher than g20 countries level of average 50 ppm. Canada had to introduce new currency note with added security features. Bank of Canada declared him the best mastermind of counterfeit notes ever He saw many people getting stabbed in jail he learned in jail never to whistle not to ask why someone is jail nor tell someone he is bewakoof. He learned trading in jail with there partners. He used to put money in trading from jail with the help of his lawyer who hired a 19year old girl that worked for him. He made 300 – 400 dollar form jail. He founded a company named INCRYPTEX with his wife michelle kam. The company was registered under the fake name Wesley Kam as he was banned for trading (he was caught guilty in 2019 as he was banned from trading in 2011 ) (he was sentenced again to jail for 2 years probation and 90 days of jail ) He also used to grow cannabis. In 2010 he was caught an arrested for 18 months in Jail. The govt. of Canada had a rule of not allowing to grow cannabis against which he fought using a fake name again as Jeffery murray in court. In oct 2018 the court legalised the cannabis act. Weber used to finance a cannabis company named CAFÉ of which his wife was also an owner.
