For example:

When the object of the following phrasal verbs is a pronoun, the two parts of the phrasal verb must be separated:
Come across find by chance I was cleaning and I came across my journal
Give away Give something for free They are giving away tickets
Get over get well Dave has got over the flu
Go on Continue
Make out Kiss They were making out outside the office
Turn on Switch on the electricity Could you turn the lights on?
