Personal Essay For College Sample

Crafting a personal essay for a college application is a challenging endeavor that demands careful
consideration and introspection. The difficulty lies not only in the need to showcase academic
prowess but also in revealing one's unique personality, experiences, and aspirations. It requires a
delicate balance between self-promotion and authenticity.

Firstly, delving into one's own life and distilling meaningful experiences into a coherent narrative can
be emotionally taxing. It demands a level of self-awareness that goes beyond surface-level
introspection. One must be willing to reflect on personal growth, challenges faced, and lessons
learned, all while avoiding clichés and common pitfalls.

Furthermore, finding the right tone is a considerable challenge. The essay should strike a balance
between professionalism and personal expression. It should be engaging, yet not overly informal;
reflective, yet not overly sentimental. Achieving this delicate equilibrium is a nuanced process that
requires multiple revisions and a keen eye for detail.

Moreover, there is the challenge of standing out among a sea of applicants. Admissions officers read
countless essays, and the task is to make yours memorable. This involves not only presenting a
unique perspective but also effectively communicating why you are an ideal candidate for the
college in question.

Additionally, the pressure to conform to certain expectations adds an extra layer of difficulty. There
may be a tendency to write what one thinks the admissions committee wants to hear, rather than
authentically representing oneself. Striking the right chord between what is expected and what is
genuine can be a formidable task.

In conclusion, writing a personal essay for a college application is a formidable challenge that goes
beyond mere academic prowess. It demands emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the ability to
artfully convey one's unique identity. Successfully navigating these challenges is crucial for creating
an essay that not only meets the criteria but also leaves a lasting impression.

If you find yourself struggling with this process or require assistance in crafting a compelling
personal essay, various resources are available. Professional writing services, such as

individual experiences and aspirations. Seeking guidance can be a valuable investment in securing

A Method Of Using Mrf Model
A method of using MRF model in image segmentation
Abstract
Machine vision is a high speed developing field in AI, and image identification is
becoming more and more important with higher and higher requires of AI. As a big part
of image identification, it is abviously necessary to develop better solution in image
segmentation, thus machine could identity objects easier. The division technique for
pictures based on Markov Random Field (MRF) demonstrate ready to combine the
contextual information from label pictures and statistical properties of pictures to be
segmented.
In this paper, we start from MRF theory, described the principle and methods of MRF
model, and discussed the advantages of using MRF model in image processing, also
concluded researches and experiences all of the world. And we summarized some types
of iterative algorithms of MRF models, also the features of these algorithms are analyzed
and compared. We also did some simulations of some typical algorithms and the results
were compared with traditional methods which demonstrated that using MRF model
could have better performance in segmentation.

What is the problem to be addressed?
The specific problem to be addressed is one modified segmentation method using MRF
model, the neighborhood of pixels, this is a little improving in neighborhood model
choosing which is really efficient. As there are
Quality Time Redefined Analysis
In today s society with cell phones, television, internet, and social media, it is very
difficult to stay connected. Our ability to stay balanced in a society with technology
exponentially improving will benefit us when connecting to more things that are real and
in the moment. The idea is not to become completely disconnected with the tech space,
but rather to connect and be involved with life outside of technologyas well. The point is
to become more involved with family and quality time. Yes, we can still be connected
with technology; however, if we take time to disconnect we can understand what is
really going on in our society. Technology is universal no matter where we go, one use
it every day if its traffic lights, bikes, phones, cars,... Show more content on

One just does whatever technology wants them to. For instance you have an iPhone 5
and it perfectly fine, but just because the iPhone 6 comes out you have to get it. People
are oblivious to the negative effects of technology. Technology does has its benefits but
look at the long term effects: the human race is growing thoughtless with each generation
because of the internet and not have real connections with people. Andrews states, Most
people have no idea how much information is collected surreptitiously about them from
social networks and other websites (Andrews 713). With most sites that one has to make
an account in, it usually asks for both first and last name, email including a conformation
within the email, sometimes credit card number, and even sometimes your address. That
right there is enough information to steal someone s identity. People aren t realizing
actually how much information the internet knows about them. The more advanced we
get in technology the lazier people become. More and more children would rather stay
inside and play video games than go outside to play. Our communication is getting to the
point where people barley have face to face conversations without being distracted by an
electronic device. According to Williams, Even before iPads, there was evidence that
Web centric home life might not, in fact, be eating away at family unity (Williams
Transmission Of Influenza
3.Transmission of the disease
Influenza is one of the most contagious illnesses caused by airborne viruses. I can lead
to mild or severe illness and even death. Influenza can come suddenly and is marginally
different to a Cold . The virus can cause infections of the lower respiratory tract (lungs)
and the upper respiratory tract (throat, nasal). Influenza is disease that may cause
symptom such as the following; fever (high body temperature), sore throat, muscle or
body aches, cough, Headaches, runny or stuffy nose, fatigue/tiredness (CDC, 2016). it
belongs to Orthomyxoviridae family of infections, myxa meaning mucus in Greek. There
are three major types of influenza that may also be addressed as different terminologies,
such as flu ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Influenza is a virus that is transmitted mainly via airborne process, which is one of the
fastest mode of transmission. It is transmitted though airborne due to symptoms such as
coughing and sneezing of the host (the infected). The host sneezes and coughs, influenza
can easily be transmitted the agent via droplets and small microorganism, therefore
entering the uninfected though the respiratory system (mouth and nasal) (WHO, 2016).
Another way the virus can lead to pandemic, is due to the fact that the number of human
and animals continue to grow and interact. Thus, the pandemic of influenza type A is
possible. This mode of transmission is both and; the airborne (respiratory system) and
physically (hand contamination). The customarily begins in rural areas (farms) as the
virus can be found in hosts such as horses, pigs, chickens and birds. There has been an
undetected interchange of the disease among animals and humans in rural environments
which then eventually grows to become a global pandemic (Webster, RG Monto, AS et
al 2013, Textbook of influenza). The virus may continue to spread physically due to hand
contamination in public; these may include door handles, public transport and other hand
held hold objects. The last mode of transmission is genetically, this may then lead to
asthma or even death (WHO,
Social Media And The LGBT Community
Social media is an internet platform that allows interaction between people. Social
media platforms are growing rapidly throughout the world. More people are joining
these social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and many more, in order
to interact with friend and relatives. These social media platforms and trends have
changed the world in many ways. It influences the individual in different ways. Many
social media platforms have transformed the lifestyle of many people based on their
age, gender and race. There are many platforms for different people, whether adult or
teenage, male or female and black or white people. These platforms have changed the
lifestyle and political status of these groups of people. LGBT community platform,
#metoo, and #blacklivesmatter have influenced the lifestyle and the political status of
many groups of people in many ways.
The LGBT community which is also referred to as the gay community is platform
comprised of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, and the organizations and people
who support the LGBT. The LGBT platform was established for mobilization and
education of people without engaging in any form of politics, but currently, it is a
political movement. It has a great impact on the political landscape of the United States.
The LGBT has played a role in the elimination of many laws against the discrimination
based on sexual preferences/orientation (Haider Markel, 2016). It has led to the
elimination of a law that banned
