SAFETY STANDARDS

According to the Australian Commonwealth Work and Health Safety Act 2011, it is an employer’s duty to provide suitable
protective clothing and equipment to employees. This includes prescription safety glasses.

In New Zealand, the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) requires PCBUs (persons conducting a business or

(and others that may be at risk from the work being done). This includes protecting people’s eyes.

To be compliant with these requirements, it is not enough to simply supply some protective side shields and/or plastic lenses.

A firm believer in the importance of occupation-specific safety glasses, John Moore successfully joined the
campaign for an industry standard to be established, leading to the release of AS/NZS 1337.6 in April 2007.
From then, he vigorously encouraged optometrists and industry safety specialists to adhere to the Standard to

Polarised Lenses provided by PSG offer complete protection against UV rays and sun glare. They not only block bothersome glare,
protecting the eyes and preventing headaches, but also reduce bright light, restoring the real colours of the environment by
increasing contrast, sometimes up to 75%*!

Polarised lenses provided by PSG are great for drivers as they improve driver reaction time by 1/3 of a second. That means that at

Optifog is a unique hydrophillic coating with inherent anti-reflection and
fog repellent properties. Thanks to the specific molecules of the innovative
Optifog ® Smart Textile, droplets that would usually result in fog and inhibit
vision spread uniformly across the lens, for an invisible and fog-free effect.

This coating is ideal for professionals who frequently move from hot to cold
environments or are required to wear masks or helmets, often experiencing
foggy lenses. Optifog® lenses offer an optimised solution to the inconvenience
of fog.

Neva® Coatings
Exclusive to PSG Safety Glasses, NEVA Coatings effectively resist

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Effective 10 September 2021

1. General 2. Prescription Safety Glasses (PSG) Warranty

In these Warranty Terms:
“Customer” or “you” means the person, firm or company placing Order(s) with PSG;
“Products” means the safety glasses which are the subject of sale or supply
between the Parties;
“Order” means the Customer’s order for the Products, whatever its format (order
form, fax, email, call to the customer service, through the Ordering System or any
other electronic format) and whether written or oral or as the case may be;
“Supplier” or “we” means PSG - Prescription Safety Glasses Pty Ltd,
‘Centennial Plaza’ Suite 1 Level 1, 260 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010,
ABN 19 130 834 221.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law or New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced if the goods fail to
be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Subject to the warranty exclusions set out in Section 3 (“Warranty Exclusions”) and
compliance with the assessment procedures in Section 4 (“Assessment Procedures
and Warranty Outcome”), PSG offers the warranties as stated below in respect of its
Products during the applicable warranty period which are in addition to your other
rights and remedies available under law.

date appearing on the safety eyewear delivery slip;

WARRANTY INFORMATION

3. Warranty Exclusions
(1) If the Australian Consumer Law, New Zealand Consumer Law, or any other law, applies to this Order and notwithstanding anything contained in this Order, the warranties
and any guarantees implied thereby are implied into this document and the Customer shall have the full benefit of those provisions but only to the extent to which those
warranties and/or guarantees are applicable and may not be excluded. All other warranties and guarantees not expressly provided in this document are excluded as far
as permitted by law.

(2) The Supplier shall not be liable in any way for any of the following:
a) Any defects in the Product that arise from the Customer’s neglect, negligence, misuse, abuse, accidental damages like cracks or breaks, external action or from
normal wear and tear, and/or;
b) Any other goods, products, materials, services and/or items of any kind whatsoever and regardless of howsoever the damage or defect may have occurred.

(3) Any warranty shall be void if installation, operating or maintenance instructions are not observed, or if parts are replaced or materials used are not in accordance with
Supplier’s original product specifications unless the Customer can show with definitive evidence that the defect in question did not result from such non-observance
of instructions.

4. Assessment Procedures And Warranty Outcome

(1) It is the Customer’s responsibility to check the item references, quantities, condition, and conformity of the safety eyewear to the order at the time of delivery.

(2) To access the warranty, Product returned must be sent, insured and carriage paid to Supplier’s Customer Service Team, in the original packaging and be accompanied
by a packing slip clearly stating the quantity and description of the products returned, the reason for the return and quoting the invoice number of the original delivery,
received certificate and a copy of the delivery slip of the returned Product within 14 days of receipt (for prescription eyewear warranties) or within 30 days of the defect
occurring (for non-prescription stock items warranties) during the Warranty Period.

(3) In the event the reason for the return is due to the Customer’s claim that the safety eyewear is/are defective, Supplier shall undertake technical examination of the
safety eyewear in its original or equivalent packaging. If the Supplier determines in its sole discretion that the defects fall within the warranty, Supplier undertakes at its
option to:
(i) repair the affected Product;
(ii) replace the Product with a pair of safety eyewear from Supplier’s current product range; or
(iii) issue a credit in respect of the affected safety eyewear. Under no circumstances will Supplier’s liability exceed the cost of replacement or the price paid by
the Customer for the Products. The Supplier may refuse to remedy defects if the Customer has not complied with the request to return the Products claimed to be
defective. Complaints by the Customer in respect of the Products alleged to be defective shall be made within five (5) days of delivery (for prescription eyewear
non-conformity warranty) or within thirty (30) days for non-prescription stock items, and shall not entitle the Customer to withhold or set off against any
payments due to Supplier.

(4) In the event the Supplier elects to replace the affected safety eyewear or issue a credit note, the original returned Product will be the property of the Supplier. In the
event the Supplier repairs the Product or declines the warranty, Supplier will return the Product to the Customer with a copy of the assessment letter.

(5) In the event the replacement safety eyewear remain unsuitable, Supplier will assist the Customer to select another safety eyewear product at full charge. Supplier is
under no obligation to replace, repair or issue a credit note in respect of the replacement solution safety eyewear.
