Long story short...

I´m a CD player and I represent each
one of you.
That is why I want to be the class
mascot.

About me...
I’m a friendly CD player! My goal in life
is to play every listening activity ever
recorded, but that’s nearly impossible,
right?

As a CD player, some of my capacities

might be very limited, but I still do my
best at everything!
I’m always smiling, as there is always
a reason to be happy about!
My personality type is ISFP, I’m
always open to new ideas and
opportunities, as I always try to
expand my knowledge and abilities
further!
I might be introverted at times, but I
love to make new friends and create
fun and everlasting memories with
them.
I sometimes need my own space
though, just to self-reflect about my
actions and stuff, y’know?
 How did I
end up here?

From my early childhood, I held a
deep passion for music.
-
A defining moment in my life
occurred when I first listened to
another CD player playing “Track
01”. In that instant I just knew that I
wanted to be an English teacher. I
wanted to play every listening track
in the whole world.

Since that moment I have
trained to be the best.
Everyday I practiced a
different track, my
intonation, pronunciation
and more.
-
As I grew up some other subjects
started to call my attention and I
was considering to study other
majors.
-
I decided to continue with my
original plan and come here.
 My experience in LEI
Pros
Being a LEI student is really fun! You got to be in these
thematic events like St. Patrick’s day’s talent show, Easter
hunt and Halloween’s custom contest! Only like 20% of the
students assist to them but hey, at least they have fun!
We also don’t have to assist to English classes at CEI, which
makes me feel powerful because sometimes we only have to
take Reading Comprehension classes in another language
to get our degree.
LEI doesn’t eat LEI, that’s our motto. 🥰 disgusting.🤢
Cons
We barely get subjects on how to teach, yes, we have
Methodology or Linguistic Evaluation but in my opinion is
not enough, I probably would know how English works
but at the end that doesn’t matter if I don’t know how to
teach it. However, we don’t worry about it, as a wise man
once said: You’ll get there.
Also we don’t have a specific building for us so
sometimes we have to use a classroom aimed for Law
students which is right next to the bathtrooms and is
About the subjects
The major has many interesting subjects related to
linguistics, teaching... But I still don’t understand
why do we need four semesters of English and
American history?! How is knowing how big Henry
VIII's bones are going to help me become a better
teacher?! Anyways, I have learned a lot of English
and linguistics in general and I like that! But the
subject I like the most is phonetics for recorders
101, where I learn how to speak in a very flat way
and I really like when I say: “Unit 4, track 2,
exercise 3”.

Studying languages. (Japanese, French and

Watching English TV series
Falling asleep in classes that I don’t like
