Terraco HANDY TAPE 160-20 (20cm wide fiberglass Joint Tape for sheathing board
joints)

Product Description:

Terraco Handy Tape 160-20 (Fiberglass Joint Tape for sheathing board joint) is alkaline resistant fiberglass
joint mesh and weighs approx. 160 gms/m2. It is available in 200 mm width & 50 mtr roll. Due to its high
tensile strength and alkali resistance, it is used as reinforcing mesh in Terraco sheathing board joint system
for interior/ exterior application.

Application instruction:

For Terraco sheathing board joint system, embed Handy Tape 160-20 into sheathing board joint compound
on the board joint with 10 cm overlapping on either side of the board joint. The Handy Tape 160 must be
embedded simultaneously on horizontal and vertical joints. Allow to dry completely before proceeding to
next step. Apply additional 0.5 to 1.0 mm layer of sheathing board joint compound over the mesh and skim
extending both side of the mesh to a smooth level finish using putty knife / scrapper.

Important Instructions:

• Mesh must be embedded flat and without folds.

• Mesh can be bent to follow corners and curved walls.
• Joints between mesh should be overlapped minimum 10cm.
• Mesh should be kept clean and oil free at all times. Unwrap just before application.
• Store at ambient temperature.

• Joints, cracks and holes are hidden permanently.
