ABSTRACT

The aim of thisproject is to control the speed of DC motor. The main advantage in
using a DC motor is that the Speed-Torque relationship can be varied to almost any useful
form. To achieve the speed control potentiometer and Arduino uno are used. As a
resistor
microcontroller is used to generate control signals based on input from the variable
driver module is used
but the motor cannot process them directly so by using an L298N motor
tocorrect the output signals.

4.6 CONCLUSION & FUTURE SCOPE

4.6.1 CONCLUSION

By using the simple components like Arduino.

potentiometer and motor
driver circuit module the speed of the de motor can be controlled.
" By rotating the potentiometer the speed of the motor can be
varied
accordingly.
Arduino generates the control signals based on the input from the variable
resistor.
" To process. motor driver module is used and provides correct output
signals so the motor rotates perfectly.

4.6.2 FUUTURE SCOPE

Motor speed controllers are electronic devices that control motor speed. They
takea signal for the needed speed and drivea motor to that speed which are very
much required in various fields. There are a variety of motor speed controllers
available and one of the method we can control the speed of de motor is by using
Arduino. motor driver module and potentiometer.
