Teacher Of The Year Essay

Crafting an essay on the subject of "Teacher of the Year" is a challenging endeavor that demands a
delicate balance of personal reflection, eloquent expression, and a genuine celebration of the
exceptional qualities that define an outstanding educator. One must delve into the nuanced aspects of
teaching, exploring the intricate dynamics between educators and students, the transformative impact
of effective teaching methodologies, and the enduring influence of a remarkable teacher on the
academic and personal development of their students.

The difficulty lies not only in articulating these concepts with clarity but also in infusing the essay
with a sense of authenticity and heartfelt appreciation. The writer must navigate through the
multitude of experiences, anecdotes, and sentiments associated with their chosen teacher, carefully
selecting those that resonate most profoundly. Striking the right emotional chords is paramount, as
the essay should not merely be a dry recollection of achievements but a vivid portrayal of the
teacher's unwavering commitment, passion, and the ability to inspire.

Moreover, the essay must transcend the boundaries of a mere accolade and delve into the broader
implications of recognizing an exemplary educator. It should touch upon the societal impact of
nurturing competent and compassionate individuals, emphasizing the pivotal role teachers play in
shaping the future.

As the writer grapples with these complexities, they must also ensure a seamless flow of ideas,
maintain coherence, and engage the reader from start to finish. Balancing the personal perspective
with broader implications, and doing justice to the profound impact of an outstanding teacher within
the confines of an essay can be an intricate task.

In conclusion, capturing the essence of a "Teacher of the Year" in an essay requires not only a
mastery of language but a deep understanding of the transformative power of education. It is a
laborious yet rewarding process that demands sincerity, introspection, and a genuine appreciation for
the profound impact educators have on shaping the minds and futures of their students.

Book: The Feiner Points of Leadership by Michael Feiner

The Feiner Points of Leadership is one of the interesting and application oriented
books I have read. I would recommend the book to my friends and colleagues who
aspire to be a good leader. This book should be read by all the leaders and managers to
be successful. It exemplifies some of the important skills manager or leader should
practice at the same time it explains the mistakes one should avoid being a successful
and effective leader. Michael Feiner s experience in PepsiCo, given examples and
instances in his tenure makes it easier to understand the facts in detail. These examples
also helps retain all the points and laws explained in the book.

He was a good manager but not a leader as he was exceptional planner and controller
but was unable to have a good relationship with the team members. All of us never felt
motivated by him to work.
The book also states the fact that to become successful in the organization, one should
have management and leadership skills in balance. As the imbalance between these two
can be harmful for the person and for the organization he is working for. Book has also
given the way you can analyze your own skills and if you are leader or manager which
can be very helpful for anyone to examine by their own. In part two, Author sheds light
on relational leadership. Relational leadership applies to everyone irrespective of
gender, race or seniority. Leadership is always considered as power and authority but
in day to day life, leadership is not about power and authority but it is about taking
people with you, motivate them, show confidence in them and show that you believe
in their capability. People work better if they are motivated. In my career I have
worked for several different managers but one of the mangers, Amar for whom I liked
working the most. I worked for Amar for few months during intra skills development
program. He was a people oriented person. Also, he was famous for developing leaders
in the team. When I started working he gave me the project to work on and told me to
lead it and handle it through the completion. He let me take the decisions and
Forgiving My Father Analysis
The poems Forgiving My Father by Lucille Clifton and Daddy by Sylvia Plath highlight
troubled relationships with the authors fathers. While most all family relationships have
weakness and strife, the ones discussed in these writings are relationships that continue to
haunt the authors many years after their fathers deaths. The poems are similar in the
authors tone, point of view, their use of excuses for their fathers behavior, and their
fathers treatment of the authors mothers.
Both Sylvia Plath and Lucille Clifton show great resentment toward their fathers that
they are trying to overcome later in life. In the second stanza of her poem, Plath reveals
her anger toward her father and his treatment of their family when she writes, Daddy, I
have had to kill you. You died before I had time. This implies that the author may have
strong enough feelings toward her father that she wishes she could have physically
ended his life. It also shows that she is trying to bring an end to the control that he has
over her life, even in his death. In Forgiving My Father, Clifton also shows a deep
animosity toward her father and his inability and lack of motivation to provide for his
family. The lines there will never be time enough daddy daddy old lecher old liar
indicate that Clifton, too, carries unresolved feelings of resentment about her father that
she struggles with even after his death. Both authors present a tone of anger, not only at
their fathers for their behavior, but also at time for taking their fathers early and leaving
them to deal with these feelings alone.
Another similarity in the poems can be found in both authors use of first person to
accuse their fathers. The negative attention the father showed toward Plath impacts the
rest of her life. She states in the ninth stanza, I have always been scared of you. This
quote shows that not only was the author frightened as a child, but also continues to
experience these feelings in the present. They are real to her, and she is speaking out
about them. Clifton continues to search for love and acceptance from her father even
after his death. I hold it out like a good daughter, she says in first stanza of forgiving my
father. This statement
The Consequences Of Hard Rock And The Bloody Sunday
Marchers
All those who marched in Selma, Alabama during Bloody Sunday took beatings and
risked their lives to allow African American and minorities to vote in the South. The
marchers actions are like the actions and results were taken by Hard Rock in the poem
Hard Rock Returns to Prison from the Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Hard Rock and
the Bloody Sunday marchers faced very harsh consequences from their authority for
taking actions against them. Both were willing to face these harsh punishments for their
action against their authority. For their actions, they are beloved and serves inspiration to
many.
Hard Rock and the Bloody Sunday marchers faced severe consequences from their
authority for fighting against them. For example, Hard Rock spent 67 days in solitary
confinement for smacking the captain (authority) with the dinner tray as said in lines 17
19 Yeah, remember when he Smacked the captain with his dinner tray? He set the record
for time in the Hole 67 straight days! Like him, the Selma marchers during Bloody
Sunday had been the victim of abuse for not dispersing in front of the Edmund Pettus
Bridge as ordered by Governor George Wallace (authority). As a result, the state troopers
(authority) brutally attacked the peaceful protestors, including US Representative John
Lewis, who sustained a fractured skull (Jones).
Hard Rock and the Bloody Sunday marchers were willing to put themselves up to face
the vicious consequences from their authority because of their fight against their
authority. As said in the poem in lines 1 6 Hard Rock was known not to take no shit
from nobody, and he had the scars to prove it: split purple lips, lumped ears, welts
above his yellow eyes, and one long scar that cut across his temple and plowed through a
thick canopy of his kinky hair which he received for fighting against his authority in
prison. Similarly, to Hard Rock, the SCLC knew they were possibly going to get hurt
with actions they were going to take. According to King Enclyopedia, SCLC had chosen
to focus its efforts in Selma because they anticipated that the notorious brutality of local
law enforcement under Sheriff Jim Clark would attract national attention and pressure

What Is The Differences Between D Artagnan And M.
Bonacieux
D artagnan the central character of the novel is a young ambitious man whose dream
is to become a musketeer like his dad. He is about 21 years old and is from Gascony.
He is brave , noble ambitious, crafty, and intelligent. He is driven by love and ruled by
chivalry but occassionally prone to amoral behavior due to his pride. Monseur
Bonacieux who is D artagnans landlord and Madame Bonacieux s husband. His wife
was kidnapped and went to D artagnan for help. Even though D artagnan was a young
ambitious and brave man he has some similarities to the character Bonacieux who is
about 50 years old , married and retired. Some of the similarities between D artagnan
and M. Bonacieux is that they both dont want to see a woman in trouble. In chapter 8
of the novel M.Bonacieux goes to D artagnan for help and D artagnan agrees to help
because they dont want to see a woman in trouble. Even though they are both
ambitious men , they had a soft spot for women and would never hurt a lady. They
both also are smart and crafty men who try to be clever in their dealings. M. Bonacieux
went on and asked for help from D artagnan even though he was warned in the letter not
to talk to anyone about his wife s abduction. One can say his a knuckle head just like D
artagnan because he didn t listen or adhere to the instructions on the letter as he went on

He showed this attribute when he was faced to choose between the cardinals guards or
the musketeers. He also did not hesitate to help M. Bonacieux when he came asking for
help with the abduction of his wife. On the other hand, M.Bonacieux will never put
himself in harms way for someone else. He would rather use his wealth or find a way to
get someone to help him out just like he did when he went to D artagnan for help with
the abduction of his
Gold Standard Foreign Exchange Market
Gold Standard Foreign Exchange Market The gold standard is a monetary system in
which the standard economic unit of account is a fixed weight of gold. With the gold
standard, the United States economy would print currency that equaled a specific value
of gold. Meaning, you could cash in your money for a specified amount of gold
because a unit of currency equals a specific amount of gold. As stated in chapter 5 of
International business, 10th edition, the gold exchange standard, established at Bretton
Woods after World War II, worked until the 1970 s when it collapsed due to inflation and
the surplus of U.S. dollars held outside the United States. They used gold because its

Smaller retailers would most likely be ruined in these types of transactions because of
the lack of knowledge and playing power when it comes to trading in a high risk
format and are usually discourage to partake in these high risk trading. The limitations
to Governments were that they could not spend what they wanted because the amount
of currency in circulation had to correspond to the amount of gold in reserve.
President Nixon eliminated the gold standard in 1971. It was eliminated because the
governments could not manipulate the money supply if it was tied to gold. Once it
was eliminated, governments could create as much Fiat money as they wanted in
order to conduct wars or any other big expenses. Fiat money is money that the
government has declared to be legal tender even though it has no actual value and is
not backed by reserves. As a result, the currency in circulation today does not have to
be backed up by anything. This is why we see trillion dollar deficits today. Politicians
can spend what they want regardless of the real economic downfalls that eventually
have to be dealt with. Nowadays, on a side note, foreign governments such as the
Chinese and others finance our US debt. This means most of debt the US government
owns is owed to foreign investors. The answer to whether having gold standard is good
or not is based on whom you ask. Economists will have one
