Criminal Procedure Code Subject Assignment, 17 July 2023
Internal Exam

A group of students of each class are assigned one judgement as assignment for 10 Marks. Each student
must individually study his/her judgement and write the judgement analysis in not more than 1500
words in his/her own handwriting. The assignment must be submitted to me on or before 5th August
2023 only during the lecture recess (between 10.00 – 10.30 am). The students must write the judgement
analysis as follows-
1. Details of the party, citation, Name of judges
2. Fact of the case
3. Issues involved in the case
4. Judgement
5. Conclusion (Critical appraisal by the student)

Note- The students must get the concerned judgement from AIR online or Manupatra databases only.
Students must search the judgement and write the proper citation. They must attach the judgement
copy along with the assignment. The analysis must be of the student only. It must not be copied from
any offline, online sources including ChatGPT. However, the students can refer to online or offline
authentic sources to understand the judgement assigned. The presentation and viva voce will be
immediately scheduled after the assignment submission whose dates will be declared by the subject
teacher in the college official group.
