Essay About Yourself Sample

Writing an essay about yourself may initially seem like a straightforward task, but as one delves into
the process, the complexity becomes apparent. Crafting a self-reflective piece requires striking a
delicate balance between humility and self-promotion, as it demands a nuanced understanding of
one's own experiences, achievements, and personal growth.

Expressing thoughts and emotions authentically without appearing either boastful or overly modest is
a challenge in itself. The writer must navigate through the intricacies of self-disclosure, deciding
which aspects of their life are most pertinent to the intended message. The risk of oversharing or
underselling can make this task even more daunting.

Furthermore, the challenge lies in maintaining a coherent narrative that captivates the reader's
interest. The temptation to list achievements or narrate life events chronologically must be tempered
with thoughtful reflection, offering insights that go beyond the surface level. Striking this balance
requires a keen awareness of the audience and a conscious effort to connect on a personal level.

Additionally, avoiding clichés and creating a unique, memorable essay adds another layer of
difficulty. Steering clear of generic phrases and presenting oneself in an original light requires
creativity and introspection. The writing process itself becomes a journey of self-discovery, as the
author grapples with the task of defining and articulating their identity.

In conclusion, composing an essay about oneself is a challenging endeavor that goes beyond mere
self-description. It demands a careful interplay of self-awareness, storytelling skill, and a deep
understanding of one's own narrative. The writer must tread the fine line between self-promotion and
authenticity, creating a piece that is engaging, insightful, and genuinely reflective of their character.

For the first nine months in 1986, NASA rubber division generated a sale of $66
million which exceeded the budgeted sales by $4.7 million. At the same time, NASA
created a positive gross margin of 40 million which exceeded the budgeted gross margin
by $3.7 million. However, they experienced a net loss of .876 million, which was $2.8
million lower than the budgeted amount.

On the other hand, fixed cost is a sunk cost unless the plant shutting down, thus it is
irrelevant. As a result, EROW should manufacture as much as possible in its plant before
transferring from NASA.

Once Antwerp reached capacity, if EROW could sell one more tonne at price which is
no less than NASA s variable costs plus delivery cost plus $700 fixed cost which is
variable to EROW, it is still beneficial.

For NASA division, whether or not actual transferring to/from EROW will have no
direct effect on its financial results, but the planned amount will do. Volume variance in
NASA is computed as taking the difference between capacity 63,750 (annual capacity of
85,000 adjusted to 9 month) and actual production 47,500, and times standard fixed cost
per unit $700 per tonne. Actual production is based on budget generated by EROW in
previous year. The more EROW budgeted transferring from NASA, the less volume
variance for NASA, thus the more favorable of the result.

Though no profit gained from transferring for NASA, and all production costs would
be covered by EROW, the transferring activity would still affect NASA s financial
results by volume variances. The more produced, the less volume variances. Thus for
Sarnia 2, which is far away from its capacity, is more than willing to produce for EROW
s demand.

For Rubber Group in total, it should allocate production of butyl and halobutyl to both
regions. Since we are lack of financial data of

For My Second Practicum, I Wrote Two Lesson Plans Because
For my second practicum, I wrote two lesson plans because I wanted to allow my
student to choose what book he wanted to read. I planned a shared reading lesson over
The Story of Henny Penny by Richard Carson and an interactive reading lesson over I
Think I Forgot by Mercer Mayer.

Planning for two different books was not difficult, but I had to keep in mind that my
student was only going to have the opportunity to read one of the books, and in the end,
my student chose to read The Story of Henny Penny. For this shared reading lesson, I
followed the steps for a shared reading by Gail E. Tompkins (2014). I had to adjust and
adapt the steps slightly because I only see my student once a week for forty minutes
which means I don t have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Reread the story. 5. Continue the process. 6. Students read independently.

If I had more time or saw my student more frequently, I would make sure to include these
steps during a shared reading lesson.

After I planned the shared reading portion of the lesson, I planned a short writing activity
where my student would have the opportunity to write down the three main events from
the story.

The teaching part of this lesson went in a totally different direction than I had planned.
After the picture walk, my student showed a deep interest in trying to read the book
out loud on his own, and I made the decision to let my student give the book a try.
Since this book was a level above what my student s level, I figured that after a page or
so he would want me to take over the reading. That is not what happened though.

My student read the entire book on his own with minimal error! This slight change in
my lesson plan meant that I was no longer teaching a shared reading lesson, but rather a
guided reading lesson. After my student finished reading, we proceeded with the lesson
I had planned. We discussed the story, what happened, what plot was, and then the plot
of this story. Then he used the story cards to retell the story. I labeled clothes pins with
numbers one through six and had them on a piece of yarn to symbolize that the events
on the card happened in order to form a whole story. After that we moved on to the
