-It includes metaphors, similes, personification, imagery, hyperbole,
and alliteration.
2. What are three kinds of irony in a short stories?
-The three most common kinds you'll find in literature classrooms
are verbal dramatic irony, verbal and situational irony.
3. .Who is the father of Kapampangan Literature and identify some of
his/her literary piece?
-Juan Crisostomo Soto

Juan Crisostomo Soto, a playwright, poet, and journalist who is regarded as the
Father of Pampanga Literature, was born in Santa Ines, Bacolor, Pampanga, on
January 27, 1867. Soto wrote several lyrical poetry, historical dramas, comedic plays,
philosophical essays, and "sarsuwelas" under the pen name Crissot, the most well-
known of which is "Alang Dios" or There Is No God. (1901). He translated Nero and the
Gladiators and Lovers of Teruel Faust into Pampango, among other works of Spanish
literature. He also contributed to La Independencia, a revolutionary journal.

Soto joined the Katipunan in the midst of the 1896 Revolution and collaborated with
Maximo Hizon to advance Pampango principles. In 1898, he took part in a number of
conflicts with American soldiers while fighting with General Tomas Mascardo's army.
Soto got hitched twice. Six children were born to him and Julia Amaida, his first wife.
Julia perished in 1903. He had four children with his second wife, Rosario Palma. At
the age of 51, Juan Crisostomo Soto passed away on July 12, 1918.
