Camp green lake had a lake and a town over a hundred years

ago but it dried up so as the town. There were two oak trees in
camp green lake but it earnto the Warden. During daytime the
temperature increases and in night time the temperature
decreases. Out their in the hot desert there are rattlesnakes,
scorpions and yellow spotted lizards. Campers try to get bitten
by a rattlesnake and a scorpion to get the day off to stop
digging. But if they get bitten by a yellow spotted lizard they will
die slowly and painfully.
Camp Green lake is a place were bad boys go to. People say
that if they dig a hole in the hot sun it will make them good
boys. That’s why Stanley Yelnats was given no choice to go to
either jail or camp green lake. Stanley’s family were poor so he
had never gone to camp before.
Stanley was the only one in the bus
When they reached camp green lake the guard removed the
handcuffs around stanley’s wrist and went to a small building.
Stanley saw many signs while he was following the guard.
