Dr. Alvin Joseph is an academic, scholar and teacher from Kottayam. His areas of interest include
Cultural Studies, Postcolonial literatures, Psychoanalytic Theory, Modernism etc. He works as an
Assistant Professor in English at St. George’s College, Aruvithura which is affiliated to the Mahatma
Gandhi University, Kerala. He has travelled extensively and has presented papers in various
conferences held at Universities in Europe, like the University of Vienna, Austria and the University
of Granada, Spain.
