 What is preference?

Preference is an expression of feeling that expresses

preference over another. Some common synonyms of
preference are alternative, choice, option, and
selection.
When making preferences, we often
use this words

Rumus:
• Subject + Prefer + to infinitive
• Subject + Prefer + Nouns + to + Nouns
• Subject + Prefer + Gerund + to + Gerund

Contoh:
• They prefer to go now
• My mother prefers lemon to orange
• She prefers watching TV to listening to the radio

• Subject + would rather + verb 1 (tanpa to- Infinitives)
• Subject + would rather + Infinitives + than + Infinitives
• Subject + would rather + Infinitives + Noun + than + Inf + Noun

• She would rather stay home than go shopping

3. Although I love relaxing on beaches, I think I prefer
