SAFE PRACTICES
PRE-OPERATION DURING OPERATION POST-OPERATION

 Ensure good housekeeping in  Always unplug equipment before

 Inspect equipment before use for
damaged parts and cords.
 Ensure all guards and shields are
in place and in good condition.
 Check the condition of the
grinding stone and ensure it is
securely fitted.
 Grind one item/material at a time.
 Use push device for pushing and
controlling work piece into grinder.
 Where possible, ensure item to be
ground is securely clamped and
supported.
 Ensure material is secure.

 Ensure you clean-up work area.
 Grasp the plug, not the cord, when
unplugging the unit.
 Place any tools back where they
belong.
 Always wash your hands with soap
and water after job completion.
