CEAT Requirement for Raw Material Development

A) Alignment:
1) Approval basis: Manufacturing plant / location
2) Supply security: Visibility to continue supply for minimum 5 years as per quantity required
by CEAT from the approved plant
3) Marking on packet: CEAT Code, Bar Code / QR Code & Handling and safety instructions
as applicable
4) System: CEAT online vendor portal registration (in web) with uploading of required
documents (SOP will be shared)
5) Audit: Supplier self-audit / on-site audit by CEAT auditors as per CEAT standard audit
format (as per requirement)
6) Sample evaluation: Compound level evaluation as per CEAT standard / suggested recipe
(as per requirement)

B) Documentation:
1) Sample information sheet (as per CEAT standard format)
2) Specification agreement with signature & official seal (CEAT standard format) with
material shelf-life from the date of manufacturing and test method alignment (need to
share test methods which are using by the supplier exclusively)
3) Material technical datasheet (TDS)
4) Material safety data sheet (MSDS)
5) ISO / IATF certificates (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 / IATF 16949)
6) REACH compliance certificate / declaration
7) CAS number declaration with compliance details (as per CRMDS format)
8) Shelf assessed audit document sheet (CEAT standard format)
9) Mandatory PPAP documents: i) Part Submission Warrant (PSW), ii) Test results, iii) Special
process characteristics or Declaration, iv) Initial process study, v) Packaging standard, vi)
Quality certificates, vii) Process control plan or Declaration, viii) Quality agreement, ix)
Calibration list
10) Agreement on CEAT Quality manual.
