PROCEDURE:

1. During the starting point, we will examine the necessary materials and techniques required for the
production of a biodegradable cup.
2. During the second stage, the researchers will hunt for appropriate materials, such as maize husks,
peanut husks, cup molders, and mortar and pestle, to be utilized in the process of product
development.
3. During the third phase of the production process, the researchers will pulverize the peanut shell
and the corn husk.
4. During the fourth step of the production process, the powder will be combined with water and
subsequently compressed to lessen the moisture that has been absorbed by the powder.
5. Following the completion of the fourth phase, the item will be inserted into the moulder and
subsequently exposed to high temperatures in order to facilitate the drying process.
6. Once the Biocup has dried, the sixth step involves conducting a test to identify any more areas that
require development.
7. Upon finishing the development process, finally we will proceed to implement a design that is
perfectly suited to the product.

Research Design

The research will be operating an experimental research approach to deeply analyze the best
concentration of peanut shells and corn husk. It will also analyzed the sustainability of using peanut
shell and corn husk for disposable cup production regarding to size, Holding Capacity, Thermal
Resistance, and Water absorption. Moreover, through this approach, the researchers also aims to
analyze the difference between peanut shell and corn husk fibers in the field of agriculture when it
comes to their effectiveness and sustainability. The goal of the experimental method is to provide
more definitive conclusions about the causal relationships among the variables in a research
hypothesis than what is available from correlational research (Lally and Valentine-French, n.d.).This
study mainly focus on two variables: holding capacity of the cup (dependent variable) and the
performance of the cup (independent variable). The researchers will specifically manipulate the
independent variable by ______ to enhance its performance.
This manipulation aims to yield anticipated results. Through this study, the researchers aim to
conclusively establish the relationship between these variables.
