Upon satisfactory claim, we wil, within a reasonable time, at our option replace or repair defective parts free of charge. Control System ‘The Operations Status Control And Reporting (.S.C.AR) control system includes multiple ECUs, sensors and a operator interface. Itcollects and sends data to control all valve, pump and relay functions that operate and maintain the combine. 0.S.C.A.R. Operator Interface The operator interface (A) has six function buttons (B), Ft thru F6, to select screens or a value to change. Rotate adjustment knob (C) to change a value. When the desired value appears on the screen, press adjustment knob to enter the value. Press and hold the ESC (escape) button (0) to return to the MAIN MENU at any time. Light (E) is the Active Alarm indicator. It will be on anytime an alarm exists. ‘The operator interface may be adjusted using the T-handle {F) to achieve the best viewing position for the operator. Main Screen ‘The Main screen (A) is the default screen shown when the ©.8.C.A,.R. system is powered up. ‘The Main screen monitors: (1) Engine speed. (2) Speed range. (3) Ground speed. To set the Alarm#1 speeds: + Verily that the desired speed ratios forthe alarms are selected at the Alarms #2 screen by pressing function button (F2). See Set Alarms #2 screen page for setting values. Then return to Set Alarms #1 screen + Run the harvester at high engine speed and adjust all conveyors, fans and augers to desired speeds ‘+ Push the setting knob (C). Speed alarm values will be automaticly calculated and entered for all alarm fields on the screen based on the speed ratios from Alarm #2 screen. From the Alarms #1 soreen the operator can access the following screens by pressing the corresponcing functions buttons (8) + (Ft) Back to previous screen viewed. (3) Speed Ratio for setting Set Alarms #1 speed values. This value is multiplied by the current operating speed to set the alarms. The typical speed ratio is 50% to avoid nuisance speed alarms during normal operation, + Press function button (F3) three times, the Fed indicator arrow appears at Speed Ratio setting. + Turn knob (C) to change setting. + Then press end of knob (C) to set.
