ANNOUNCEMENT

Attention ! All English Language Society Members

The English Language Society will be holding a special meeting on Saturday, 19

April, 2012 at 8.00 a.m. in the school hall. All members must attend. As part of the
English Language Campaign , Encik Mazlan Ahmad from the National Library will be
giving a talk on poetry and short writing at 9.00 a.m. after the meeting. All pupils are
invited to the talk. Those who wish to read their poems and short stories may do so
after the talk.

There will also be a puppet show in the canteen at 10.30 a.m.

The English Language Society is also having a poem and a story writing competition .
Pupils who want to take part may hand in their stories to Lim Pei Ling of Year 6 Red
and the poems to Vimala Ratnam of Year 6 Blue before 17 May 2012.

We would like to remind those who are taking part in the poster competition to hand
