This documentary starts by talking about the multiple false allegations made

against senator Leila de Lima, and Leni Robredo, two women who were against the
president's drug war at the time. The documentary then lists the various methods of
disinformation and propaganda used by the government, such as insults and fake
news. It then points out how such online propaganda was used during the 2016
Presidential Elections to place Duterte in power, and afterwards to silence
critics. After this, it tells the story of Nicole de Castro, a student who was
threatened online with gang rape after a video of her protesting was posted without
context. The documentary also talks about the professional spread of fake news at
the hands of social media influencers paid by advertisers serving politicians, and
cites even more examples of this spread and the individuals in it, including
certain pro-Duterte vloggers. The documentary ends with the reminder that democracy
is more than just popularity, it is the freedom to do the right thing.
