Is Global migration beneficial? Yes or No, and why?

For me, yes but somehow it is not beneficial because it has both positive and negative
effects, especially in the country of origin. For example, as a future nurse, I have plans to work
abroad. In the country I'm planning to work in, their pension gap can be filled by us (new young
workers) through contributions and taxes. Philippines, which is my country of origin and a
developing country, can benefit from us through remittances (payments sent home by
migrants). These now often outstrip foreign aid. The disadvantage is the loss of highly trained
people, especially health workers. So in summary, if global migration is beneficial, it can also be
economically beneficial for both countries of origin and host countries; however, with present
economic and trading structures, it is the rich and powerful countries that benefit most.
