ANTI-VIBRATION RUBBER A) In mounting anti-vibration rubber, the rubber must not be twisted and the rubber’s center must not be slipped. \ teat ees aa ao x ° x oO The rubber must not be twisted. |] [The rubber’s center must not be slipped. | In mounting, only the vertical pressure is to be permissible in the rubbers and other shape changes are not permitted (Otherwise the shortening of the rubber life or abnormal vibration is to be caused.) Especially, exhaust pipe line resistance should be designed under permissible back pressure, Pive line resistance of inlet pipe of the pump should be designed under standard. 5. Drain To be installed the drain to the bottom of the pipe. Piping without air pocket and undulation. Piping with air pocket should be attached the air valves. Drain and air cock should be desianed by considering the trim. 6 Control, Check, disassembly To be installed the valves and cocks appropriately. Pipes should be desioned the shape that can disassemble easily. Valves and straineres should be installed to the olace that can operate and check easily. Hull fitted separator and oil filter should be considered element exchange space. To be secured disassembly space of engine. 7. Others Exhaust system should be insulated by shipyard.
