The figure above shows the supply chain of LiBrew which

comprises three entities; the suppliers, the producers (LiBrew), and the
customers. The flows that link the different components that make up the
supply chain are as follows: the flow of tangible goods and services from
suppliers to consumers; the flow from customers to suppliers; the
continuous flow of information. The movement basically demonstrates
the procedures by which a company develop relationships with suppliers
in order to generate the goods and services that will be made available to
customers.

LiBrew will use a mixed strategy to utilize its suppliers. Along with
the chain's own storage facilities, in order to not only verify that the
business is always fully stocked and also giving customers access to a
greater selection of goods than can be managed in a single area. Partner
distributors will ship their goods to the business from the chain's own
warehousing facilities. The distributors are, of course paid for these
trucking services.

As the business name’ “LiBrew” suggests, the main products

of the business will be books and coffee. It will be harder if the business
will do one-time-buy, thus, LiBrew will need suppliers of both products
to sustain the business.

LiBrew will not go looking for a coffee bean source elsewhere

because there are already some throughout the province that has been
trusted by some businesses. Coffee bean is G. del Pilar’s One-Town-
One-Product (OTOP). Recently, a coffee farmer from the town has
become one of the suppliers of “Café Amian”-a local hometown
coffee shop and the very first premium coffee shop in Ilocos Sur that
focuses on locally sourced Ilocos beans, Ilocano fusion food menu and
anything north (Amian, Dream Big Branding) located at Candon City,
Ilocos Sur. G. Del Pilar has already begun a collaborative connection with
the recently established business “Café Amian”, LiBrew will be willing
to build a connection with the town by becoming a buyer of coffee beans.
The business will not only benefit the supplier/farmer financially, but it will
also help in the promotion of a local product.

For other materials, goods and cafe’s supplies, the business will
purchase in Grand Champ Packaging Corporation a "one-stop-shop" for
all paper, plastic, biodegradable food packaging container supplies. They
have a wide range of food packaging product lines. They are located at
Unit 2 Business Center, Felix Ave, Pasig, 1612 Metro Manila. For the
machines and equipment, it will be purchase through online from
Carousel, Alibaba and Amazon.

In addition, Librew will require a book supplier. The business will

then choose "Books from Underground," an underground bookstore
located at Laguisnilad Underpass, Taft Avenue, Manila. This secondhand
bookstore, which opened in 2010, was well-known for supplying both
popular and hard-to-find titles. LiBrew will be able to provide useful
materials to its customers because this bookstore has hundreds of titles
from various literary genres and themes. The business will focus on
providing the materials that its customer needs.

WASTE DISPOSAL MANAGEMENT

People have become more cautious about waste disposal as a

result of the effects of environmental contamination. Every establishment
must adopt proper waste disposal management. To ensure the safety of
consumers, and the environment, garbage should be properly disposed
of environment. The hazardous, biodegradable, and non-biodegradable
waste will be separated to ensure proper garbage disposal.

By carefully managing perishable stock, you may lower expenses

and decrease food waste. Make sure that every item is clearly labeled
with the date it was received, and finish using up older goods first. By
doing this, you'll prevent having to throw away food that runs out before
you can finish it. Taking extra care and caution will help your company
save money while lowering the quantity of food waste it generates.

Using re-usable containers is another way to manage waste.

Instead of purchasing single-use containers that are placed immediately
on tables, invest in washable containers that can be restock with
condiments bought in bulk.

Water must be used as least as possible for waste water disposal.

As long as there are no pollutants or soaps present, leftover water may
be used to water landscaping. Remove any dirt from the garbage to
avoid drain clogs. The washing bucket should be big enough to prevent
spills. You must store all chemicals in containers that won't leak, like a
strong plastic tub that holds all the bottles. Use biodegradable products
with pyrethrins whenever possible.
For the Coffee beans, the shop will purchase a green trash can to
cut down on waste being dumped in landfills. To cut down on plastic
waste, request from suppliers that should use minimal packaging.
Consider moving to reusable alternatives for pallets or containers
whenever reverse logistics are possible.
