landscape planting. Recent urban tree surveys in hongkong identified many
arboricultural problems related to stressful habitat conditions including edapic
ones. Soil constrants in the crowded city are acute and yet relevant data are
lacking.

potential, In this context, nature based solutions are assumed to deliver multiple
environmental benefits for soil quality improvement. The studied showed that
soil fertility is a rather tool in evaluation of urban soil quality.
