Jay is Jacob Lebone Madisha mostly known as Mr Mayor, born and raised by a domestic

worker and security guard at Atteridgeville, Pretoria. My parents seperated when I was still
6/7 year's old ,so growing up it was a struggle moving from one place to another sometimes
sleeping with an empty stomach. I'm turning 29 year's old on the 7th of May. I went to Dr
Wf Nkomo High School which I was the RCL President in 2013 and have worn numerous
awards in high school from Grade 8 to grade 12.
Growing up I was an isolated child, was subjected to alot of discrimination because of my
poor background. I was passionate about soccer but always have loved to read and help
people.
Well I'm a hardworker, I love putting myself on other people's shoes.

2. I am a three time drop out, I Went to University Of Limpopo to study Computer Science
2014,I dropped out after 6 months due to alot of financial, emotional, mental and
psychological challenges, studied Accounting Science at Unisa 2015 then I dropped out after
the first Semester when my parents couldn't pay the other half the intuition fee even
though my neighbors paid half of the intuition fee, then last I didn't financial Management
at Tshwane North 2017, dropped out when we were approaching the final exams after
receiving a call from Markham to be their acting Assistant manager by the age of 23 I
needed the money so I dropped out because they didn't allow me to do part time. But then
the good news is I've enrolled again this year I'm studying Bachelor of Arts in
Philosophy,Politics and Psychology.
It's a huge challenge balancing studies with work because we hardly have free time so I
must make sure I don't sleep so I can catch up as much as it is hard ,when you want
someone you either make excuses or you make a way.

3. The free breakfast for Unprivileged School Children has been operational for the past 3
year's. It started as an after school program where we used to serve children lunch but then
again it occured to me that most of the times I couldn't concentrate in class was because I
was hungry at home I didn't have anything to eat, I realized the reason why I don't have
confidence to express myself was because I didn't have school Uniform to Wear, when I
couldn't participate in class in was because I was having hunger pains and thinking where
I'm going to get my next meal, all those factors dawn on me that most of the children who
have temper, anger, lack confidence and self esteem is not because they are stupid or made
to be that way sometimes it means they are going through alot and alot sometimes is
hunger for food.

We sell chicken feet, archaar, sweets, popcorns, snacks then use the profits to fund our
projects. We feed more than 250 to 300 kids and still run-out of resources before we cover
all the kids.

4. If you judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree,it will live it's whole life believing it's a fool.
Children have different abilities and talents and not all of them can be doctors and lawyers
because some were born to be soccer stars and good singers but the narrative is always
have been go to school, get good grades, go to university, get a job ,then die after you die
you remember you didn't live at all. We are invested in youth empowerment and
development. The past weekend we hosted a substance abuse awareness tournament,to
take away all the frustrated kids and those who are not but good in sports a platform to
express their talents and play away from substance abuse because an idle mind is the devil's
olaygroud.

For our sport adventure we have collaborated with Atyln Shopping Centre, Safari
Investment RSA, Tshiamo's lounge, a brilliant role model and hip hop artist Blow Lepara,
Star Cleaner, and Spotless Corner.

We have a toxic circle we men believe women have hurt and changed them and woman also
reiterate the same thing, we see even in our daily lives that there's an imbalance in our
gender roles and positions, we have alot of partner's killing woman, most women are single
parents, most women are unemployed, most women are subjected to abuse so the aim is to
break the barries patriarchal and matriachal concepts have created.

We have no funding, We have no Sponsorship.

What makes me unique is the ability to adjust from one struggle to another. I grew up poor ,
many people today don't know me because when I was young they discriminated
me,chased me away while I was playing with their children, I used to envy the parents of
other children because of poverty , it caused me alot of pain ,pushed my brother to do
drugs. So I couldn't bare watching another child growing like I did or another person
suffering from what I suffered from because the pain I suffered is a lifetime of damage.

7. If you are looking to grow your company through Corporate Social Responsibilities you've
find the perfect person for the job, to us is not about the money is about changing one life
that will change one life that will change one life that will change another.

Hardowk makes the difference🙏🏿🙏🏿

8. To all the young people out there, hardowk beats natural talent when natural talent is not
working hard. It doesn't matter if you don't come from a rich family but a rich family must
come from you. I stay in a shack but many people who stay in mansions haven't achieved
have of the great things we've achieved and that is prove that it doesn't matter where you
from, how you look like, what you ate last , it's all about you , not how you start the race but
how you finish it. You might be growing through alot and thinking you'll never make it but
always remember that before just when the caterpillar though it was over God turned it into
a butterfly.
Our future plans is owning a fleet of land where we will construct our own school, sports
academy, university, build our own malls , create multiple employment and eradicate
poverty, as for our growth plans we are very discreet and have learned the hard way, only
our results will talk for us those who are interested will be in contact with us, just as much it
is said "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear."
