v Management By Objectives (MBO)
Ø Process of mutually agreed-upon goals and using

reviewed.
Ø Rewards are allocated on the basis of progress
towards the goals.
MBO has 4 elements: goal specificity, participative decision making,

Steps in Goal Setting
1. Review the organization’s mission statement.

2. Evaluate available resources.
