Healthcare setting is dynamic and ever-changing, demanding healthcare providers to

have a deeper comprehension of the complex attribute of healthcare systems and the capacity

to embrace and maneuver the dynamic setting. Therefore, students are hoping to learn about

various elements that impact patient outcomes and care. One key aspect I am hoping to learn

from this module is the understanding of various system level in healthcare. Besides,

understanding the interaction and link between macro-systems, meso-systems, and micro-

systems and how they impact nursing practice will be integral. I am also hoping to learn

about how adjustments in one level can influence the whole healthcare system, enabling me

to anticipate and react effectively to opportunities and challenges.

Additionally, we are hoping to develop skills in adapting to complicated adaptive

healthcare systems. We are eager to learn approaches to maneuver through rapid, ambiguity

and uncertainty changes. Such skills include decision-making, problem-solving, and critical-

thinking in complicated healthcare scenarios. By acquiring such skills and knowledge, we

aspire to become adept nurses and nurse leaders capable of delivering patient-centered,

evidence-based and safe care even in unpredictable and complex events.

Moreover, nursing students are hoping to improve their collaboration and

communication skills within complicated adaptive systems. Effective communication and

interdisciplinary teamwork are integral for better patient outcomes. Therefore, through this

module, nursing students are eager to acquire the skills and knowledge required to cooperate

with diverse communities, families, patients, and healthcare professionals, improving overall

care quality and encouraging shared decision-making. Hence, by equipping ourselves with

such skills and knowledge, we aspire to become proficient and agile practitioners capable of

handling the issues of the modern healthcare system.
