Onza is the Spanish word for ounce. In the world of numismatics and precious metals, the word
YOUR CHOICE 15.00 each “Onza” refers to one troy ounce. Most familiar to collectors are the Mexican Silver Onzas.

Mexican coins. This onza is a large crown size, .925 fine silver equivalent to one troy ounce
of pure silver. For this reason the coin states in Spanish “Una Onza Troy De Plata Pura,” or
