Ground Rules

Do you agree to use the Learning Team forum for your communications? Will
you exchange phone numbers, and are calls OK? What days will all team
members check into the team forum? Will you appoint weekly team leaders, or
will you all contribute to each week’s assignment without having a leader, etc.?

Communication:
● Use Learning Team forum for all communications

● Exchange phone numbers for urgent matters


● Calls are acceptable, with prior agreement
● Text for non-urgent matters or otherwise group-related topics
Forum Check-Ins:
● All team members will check the group discussion space in Canvas
regularly (at least once every 48 hours)
● Place input at least 48 hours before submission deadline
Leadership:
● Rotate weekly team leaders or assign based on strengths
Assignment:
● Team Assignment Input is due on Saturdays at 11:59P MST

Responsibilities

Set the deadlines for individual assignments as part of the Learning Team
responsibilities (When will member contributions be considered late? How many
substantive postings must each team member make each week? Etc.).

Weekly meeting to discuss at least 48 hr prior to Saturday 11:59p team


assignment submission.

Person assigned to Weekly Submission will be responsible for all editing of the
compiled agreed upon information.

Each team member will have their own notes section in each google document
on each module. The final submission material will be on the first page of the
google document.

All notes each team member included is to be added to the group discussion
reply for the associated Module. The notes within the google doc will then be
deleted so the final submission is just the assignment information and nothing
more.

Progressive Discipline
Set what the consequences for missing deadlines, not fulfilling responsibilities,
failing to make the agreed upon number of substantive postings, etc.

Be sure to let each member know what the consequences in lost points will be
for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd violation (Up to termination of Learning Team membership).

If any team member fails to input by


aforementioned deadlines each week
Dr. Jay will be notified.

PLEASE NOTE:

Any input not received by due date of 11:59p on Saturdays is a 10 points loss.

No input on the efforts coupled with no communication of being late or needing


more time is a 15 point total loss for the week.

The point loss is for the person who is late, not the group as a whole.
