Important: -

2. Gate opening time 9:00AM, Gate closing time 10:30AM.
No candidate will be permitted to enter the exam centre after 10:30 AM.
3. If your admit card is showing wrong photo or no photo, kindly bring 2(two) recent coloured passport size
photographs along with admit card.
4. USE BALL PEN ONLY (BLACK OR BLUE) provided by us.Do not bring any pen.
5. Rough work if any may be done on the question booklet and not on the OMR sheet.
6. The question booklet along with the OMR sheet is to be deposited with the Invigilator of the examination hall after
the completion of examination.The question booklet and OMR sheet are NOT to be taken out of the examination
hall under any condition. The last copy of the OMR sheet shall be given to the candidate.
7. Please read the instruction sheet along with the admit card.
8. Candidate should be careful while filling the circle provided in the answer sheet. The answer sheet shall be read by
OMR Technology and marks awarded by the machine shall be final.

Banned Items List in Examination Centre
Following items are NOT allowed inside the examination center:

plastic or cloth pouches, scales, pen, pen drives, writing pads, log tables, electronic pen, etc.

Communication Mobile phones, microphones, any Bluetooth device, earphones/ earbuds, health bands, or
Devices any other electronic device.

Ornaments Metallic items like bracelets, earrings, etc.

Any kind of Wrist Watch, wallet, purse, bags, hand bags, cameras, belts, goggles, caps,
Other Items
handbags, etc.

Food Items Edible items (opened or sealed), water bottles, etc.

Rules for essential items for examination centre


Candidates will only be allowed to enter empty handed with all pockets empty with only the following two items in
hand:

1. Originals of valid Identification Proof (Aadhaar card/Passport/PAN).


2. Printed Admit Card.

Note: There will be no arrangements at the exam centres for storing or keeping any
extra or banned items carried by the candidate.

Rules for Dress Code


All candidates will be subjected to frisking before / during the exam. Only female staff will carry out the frisking of
female candidates.

Male candidate's Dress Code


Kindly follow the instructions given below:
1. Shirt/T-shirt/Trouser should be without any Big buttons, embroidery, and zip pockets.
2. Coats / Jackets / Hoodies are not allowed
3. Only Sleepers and sandals(low heels) are allowed.
4. Shoes are not allowed to be worn.
5. Kurta Pyjama is not allowed.
6. Metallic items, chain, bracelets, ear-rings, finger rings are not allowed.
Female candidate Dress Code
Rules for Female candidate's dress codes are given below:
1. Clothes with big buttons, embroidery, zips, badges / brooch are NOT allowed.
2. Only slippers and sandals(low heels) are allowed.
3. Shoes are not allowed to be worn.
4. Metallic items, chain, bracelets, amulet, ear-rings, finger rings are not allowed.
PLEASE NOTE ENTRY IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT METAL DETECTOR CLEARANCE
Important Notes:
1. Candidates who require deviation from the instructed dress code due to medical or any other unavoidable
conditions must produce credible evidence in support of its use during the examination by competent
authority.
2. Candidates who will wear or carry their customary religious clothes must arrive at the respective exam
centre at least two hours before the latest reporting time, to ensure proper frisking.
Exam Day Guidelines
Some important information that the candidates should be aware of
1. No candidate will be permitted to enter the exam centre after 10:30 AM. Reporting time is 9AM. Hence, it is
suggested that candidates should keep ample time in hand for traffic, weather conditions, etc. so as to
arrive at the examination centre. No entry will be allowed after gate closure.
2. No candidates should carry any item that is banned at the exam centre.
3. Candidates must follow the prescribed dress code.
4. They must be available and cooperative with the exam centre staff and other officials for physical frisking.
5. Any breach of any of the above-given rules and regulations will lead to disqualification of the candidates.
6. If any candidate is found to indulge in any form of malpractice or unfair means during the exam, he or she
will not be allowed to take the exam. Also, the candidate will be liable for actions (criminal or any other)
deemed suitable by KGMU.
Rules and Regulations: Regarding Unfair Means Practices
The unfair means practices or malpractices include but are not limited to the following.

1. Carrying any item that is prohibited or banned at the exam centres.


2. Impersonation or using someone else to appear in the examination as the candidate himself/herself.
3. Forcefully entering or exiting the examination hall.
4. Affixing or uploading improper, wrong, or morphed photographs on the Admit Card, application form, or the
proforma.
5. Preparing any text material for copying.
6. Manipulation and fabrication of Admit Card, self-declaration or any other online documents.
7. Helping (directly or indirectly) other candidates in indulging in malpractices during the examination.
8. Writing down any questions or/and answers or rough work on any other paper or material apart from the
answer sheet provided at the centre for writing answers.
9. Tearing any part of the test booklet or the answer sheet.
10. Erasing or destroying any part of the information on the OMR sheets.
11. Talking to or attempting to contact any other candidate during the examination.
12. Taking the answer sheet outside the examination centre.
13. Smuggling out of answer sheets or question paper, or their parts.
14. Threatening the officials connected to the exam or any other candidate.
15. Using or attempting to use any electronic device after entering the examination hall or centre.
16. Providing incorrect information on the OMR sheet.
17. Overwriting any information, like roll number, name, signature, test booklet number, mother’s or father’s
name on the OMR sheet.
18. Hindering the fair and smooth conduction of the examination.
Any case of impersonation which is found during / any time after the examination or even after joining, shall lead
to disqualification of the candidature for the examination and termination of the service and invite lodging of FIR
and criminal prosecution.
