Comments:
• My child is extremely happy at playgroup. It is a lovely, safe and nurturing setting.
The daily activities are well organised and well thought out, supporting my child’s
learning in a fun, engaging way. The staff are very approachable. Very responsive
to comments and feedback.
• Couldn’t be happier with my child’s experience at playgroup.
• I had been anxious about sending my child as a two-year-old because I feared the
playgroup setting would be tough for him, but in reality, it’s great and he has loved
it from the start!

Comments:

• Staff are always chatty and informative about child’s day and are always friendly to both me and
my child.
• The team create a really welcoming, calm and kind environment for children and parents alike.
• The staff are really lovely and helpful (and the children obviously adore them!)

I chose Condicote Playgroup because:

• It is a not for profit therefore prices are low and affordable.

• It provides a relaxed and safe environment where the staff genuinely are about the children and
helping them to achieve their potential.
• Condicote was highly recommended to me and now I see why. We love it!
• I have visited numerous times over the years and liked what I see. I have also taught for a number
of years and the pupils who have attended Condicote are always well prepared for primary school.

My child likes playgroup because:

• The staff understand the children and know how to make them happy and comfortable.
 • She has made secure relationships with her caregivers, who treat her with kindness and
respect. She enjoys spending time with the other children and benefits hugely from the
well thought out activities. She has made such progress with speech, confidence and
independence since joining!

Condicote playgroup does well in:

• Keeping parents informed about what happens every day.
• Teaching the children without them realising. They are learning via fun games.
• Monitoring progress and updating parents.
• Does well to involve the grown-ups through events such as the Christmas Sing-Along.
• Taking child’s abilities to hand- their individual needs.
• Communication

Condicote playgroup could do better by:

• They go outside a lot in the summer, could maybe a go outside a bit more in the winter?!
The village hall is having new patio doors so we are hoping that during the winter months we will
be able to open them and not lose so much heat from the hall! We also have plans to improve on
our outdoor provision, forest school and buy new gross motor skills toys and equipment.
• Perhaps some more updates on Tapestry?
We are working to make sure that we provide parents with meaningful observations as well as
general ones which cover the Early Years Framework and assess the progress of each child.

Any other comments (PTO if necessary)

• My daughter has come on in leaps and bounds since joining Condicote and has gained a
lot of confidence- Thank you.
• We are incredibly lucky to be part of such a special playgroup.
• The staff and committee all do a brilliant job!
• My daughter really enjoyed it when a parent brought in Asian food, is this something that
could be done monthly? Different foods from around the world?
