CHEWY BROWNIES

Core 5: Present Dessert

Ingredients:

3/4 cup salted butter

2 cups brown sugar

4 pcs egg (whole)

1½ all-purpose flour

1 cup cocoa powder

250 grams of dark chocolate

1 tsp. vanilla

½ tsp. salt

½ cup peanuts or wall nuts (optional)

1/4 cup water

1 tsp. Instant coffee (optional)

2-4 tbsp. Honey (optional)

Tools and Equipments:

8x8 square pan, Wax paper, Dough cutter, Spatula, Mixing bowl, Saucer pan, Rubber
scraper, Measuring cups (liquid & solid), Measuring spoon

Steps and Procedures:

1. Mise en place put the butter on medium heat plus brown sugar, melt it, continue to stir
until boiled and smooth, and set aside.

2. In another bowl, put the cocoa powder, APF, dark chocolate, vanilla, salt, and 4 eggs,
and mix it until dissolved or incorporated.

3. Combine the melted butter and sugar into the batter mixture, mix all together, and add
the nuts /walnuts. Mix, but do not over-mix...

4. Put the batter mixture in the 8 x 8 square baking pan. Grease the pan and use wax
paper.
