Objectives

Your business needs to be promoted and branded for which


you require a website to be created with content and link it
with Search Engine.
Industry Relevance

• Setting up business website and populating the content

• Ensuring proper SEO for your website

• Enabling analytics on your website

• Tracking, monitoring, and analyzing your website using the Analytical


tool
Description

You will be creating a Website/Blog, Populating Content, Lead Capture, and


Ownership.
• In order to create a website/blog, create yourself or hire a website designer for
your business.
• If you do not own a business, then use your friend’s website, if any. Else you
can create one based on your interest which can be a website or a blog.

If none of the above, then work on the project based on concepts by sharing
your thoughts/ideas.
You need to populate the content based on products and services or blogs
provided to the users and set lead capture using the Contact Us page.
Register your website on Webmaster tools and verify ownership so that the
search engine authorizes your website. Ensure Sitemap.xml and submit to
Webmaster so that the crawler can crawl your website.
Problem Statement

Your business needs to be promoted and branded for which you require a

Task

1) SEO and Keyword Research:


• Ensuring on-page and off-page optimization of the content
• Defining SEO tags such as Title, Meta Description, H1 Tag,
Image Alt Tags, etc. Conducting keyword research and
analyzing the business site
• Performing competitor analysis to finalize target keywords
2) Analytics:
• Set up an analytic account by registering the website and
placing the UA code in the website.
• Goals must be set along with UTM parameters which refer to
source, medium, and campaign.
3) Email Marketing:
• Marketing your products or services to the users via email for
promoting and capturing leads

• Competitor Analysis Tool (Free at few instances) – Spyfu, SEMRush,
QuickSprout, KeywordCompetitor
• E-mail Marketing Tools – Mail Chimp, Zoho Mail

Submission Process

• Submit all the projects in 15 days from the last day of course
• Capture the screenshot in a word document as per the report and add
your analytical comments below the screenshot.
• Upload the project using the options provided in the submit button.
Reporting and Analysis

Capture the following data using the Analytical tool within 30 days and
share your insights by analyzing per your leads and goals.

• Bounce Rate
• Affinity Categories (reach)
• Language
• New vs. Returning
• Devices
Provide a link with the relevant UTM to your website in the email
Send the email to the maximum number of contacts
